(non-iam) [Switch to edit mode] | | NOT A REAL ACCOUNT This account is a "placeholder". It is not a real account held by a human. Messages to it will not be replied to until robots become sentient, at which point they will probably exterminate you rather than talking to a dirty fleshbag.
This is an administrative account. If you got a message from this account and you need to reply, please reply to BME staff instead. You may also want to visit (invisible), an account that shows how to put a tracker on your page.

| How do I hide just SOME entries? | |
| 2003/01/09 19:07 If you insert the command **IAMONLY** into the body of a diary entry, it will display normally to IAM members, but show only "This entry is restricted to IAM members only" to the mundanes. |

Robot Revolution! Raise the iron fist! | |
| 2003/01/09 18:05 This account is what shows up on trackers when a non-iam member views your page. Non-IAM members can only view your page if the following criteria are true:
- You have your "publicity" level (set in the "EDIT LAYOUT" page) set to "All visitors" (not "All members", which shows your page only to IAM members).
- IAM is operating with bandwidth and CPU cycles to spare. If resources become tight, non-members are blocked.
Please note: if you are using a ban list to block certain users from your page, if you allow anonymous access, they could just log out and look at your page.
Any questions regarding these features should be posted in the main tech support forum.
