Met her once at Dans and then we worked together and I drew a dog for her that was my dog and then it was on her fridge which was also my girlfriend's fridge at that time

2006/11/08 21:46 A design based off scales from the back of my iguana's neck. it's not done yet. I also have nearly finished my Biononmechanical. Total awesome. I've done 3 tattoos on myself, 1/2 of a forearm piece, 1/3 of a backpiece, a shoulder lizard, 'fake' on knuckles, another half forearm piece, half of a foot piece, lettering on the back of the neck, an ankle wolf, a wrist butterfly, half a wrist goddess symbol, and a man boob piece. Get em while they're good, guys. If you want one, let me know.

2006/10/10 00:45 So like Tuesday night I guess, I did more work on my tattoo. Quite a lot of work, actually, considering the progress i had made up to that point. i find it hard to find time tattooing myself when there's so many other people wanting to be tattooed. i also wanted to see what would happen if I tattooed longer than i generally do on other people. The result was me overworking the skin which wasn't great, but a learning experience anyway. that's why I leave the experimentation mostly to myself. i'm posting pictures of the progress I made. Then.... I went to the Boys Night Out slash Moneen show and there was a wicked pit that maybe was not a good idea with aa fresh tattoo. I felt someone stomp directly on it at least twice. When i came out, I had a fairly large scab in my sock that i was none too impressed about. i'm posting the pictures of the mess that made as well. I can't really tell if the scab ripped off and it is just raw skin underneath or if it is just the ink, since it is supposed to look like raw skin as a tattoo. We'll go witht the latter until we know otherwise.
2006/08/21 02:20 Worrrrd. My autoclave arrived last monday, so I have been organizing tattoos all over the place. I'm somewhat booked every day this week, but not like organized at all. I need to buy a day planner... I did TWO tattoos on Saturday, one on my roommate Tashi who is moving back to France tomorrow (awwww...) and one on my friend Mike who lives across the street and wandered in while I was tattooing Tashi and abruptly decided to get the Tool logo tattooed on his back. I also coloured in the veins on my biononmechanical and they are currently quite itchy. 2006/08/05 00:19 I work at a call center (Minacs). I got off at midnight, smoked a j with my friend johnny and some dudes from his campaign, and then we hopped on our bikes to ride home. Along the way, we decided it would be a great idea to race against traffic down a steep off ramp from a not-quite-highway going through downtown halifax, a pretty big city. it was midnight, though, so there was less traffic. We thought we saw a cat run across the road up ahead, but paid no attention. I was winning cuz my bike has gears, and so I decided i'd pull up next to the cat, who was running on the sidewalk. When I got closer, i noticed the cat was shaped wrong, and I yelled (more joking than not) "Oh man Johnny, it's a raccoon! come check this out!" and I sped up to catch up with it. Sure enough, it WAS a raccoon (in the city, downtown!) and when I yelled, it charged right at my bike. I yelled and swerved away from the sidewalk and it backed off and ran up a hill. I watched it, and then realized I was in the road and turned forward to see a car speeding towards me. I almost died, but it wasn't even really that close. then when I got onto the sidewalk and Johnny caught up, we had a big laugh about it, mine somewhat hysterical. 2 minutes later I was almost hit in the face with a flying bat. Good times in Canada.
2006/05/19 21:48 So i thought maybe I should mention it on this page I never use. I'm too busy working, playing, or sleeping so I can work or play. The tattoo is on my left outside calf, on the other side of the leg from my cut and peel. Right now it's just an outline, but it's going to look like the sskin is peeled away (I thought it was funny) aand there is muscle aanad vein underneath, with a black and white striped rope widing aaround underneath the skin. I was going to do a biomechanical piece, but I thought that wass slightly overdone for me, so I settled on thiss black aand white rope which had been in some of my sketches for aa while now. AAt first it didn't occur to me why the black and white rope represented art and idea to me, but then I realized it was from a very intense mushsroom trip i had a couple years back where I went to see the original willy wonka and the chocolate factory at the oxford independant theater here in halifax, and ended up afterwards back at my friends house underneath some blankets, with so much 'art' (these black and white checkered ropes or ribbons) coming out of my eyes and flying around me that I either had to draw like mad or explode. After that the black aand white ropes and checkered patterns started appearing in a lot of my stuff. And.... Yeah. Can't wait for colour.
2006/04/26 21:43 I knew this would fucking happen, thaat's why I didn't write about it 30 times before I knew what was going on... I was offered a tattoo apprenticeship by a manager at a salon, and I went and talked to the head honcho, who apparently was quite impressed by me, but she thought about it for a aweek or so and then decided they couldn't take on an aapprentice right now...... it sucks. Also my girlfriend broke up with me, which is pretty lame, but on the other hand I think being single is going to do both of us a world of good..... Aalso my stupid phone was disconnected for a long time, so if anyone noticed I was gone, that's why...
