so I'm getting married on Saturday.
I really need to update my pictures on here so here we go.<.br>
The first picture shows the front of my shoulder Mehndi piece.

2007/12/22 19:53 Yesterday was Mina's 5th birthday and we went to get her pictures done. James, Mom and I noticed that her face looked odd...swollen on one side. I called her doctor and they got her an appointment right away. She doesn't have insurance until January, but it didn't cost a huge amount of money for the visit. She has an abscess in her mouth, something-related to a tooth that is coming in wrong I think. She got antibiotics and we thought that was the end of it and everything would be ok.
So we went to Cincinnati for my uncle's wedding(well for the rehearsal and dinner on Friday night). My aunt was too stressed and couldn't do her scripture reading, so I volunteered since I'm a sick puppy who actually enjoys public speaking. James and I joked about how I'd probably be struck by lightning when I was doing the reading. So we had the rehearsal last night and Mina vomited all over the floor of the church and a pew. We figured it was something she had eaten and that would be the end of the vomit. Nope....she threw up 3 times at the rehearsal dinner--we went and after she was sick the first time we just ordered our food to go. We decided to wait it out at the hotel.
She was sick almost all night, but she took a couple naps during that time. Since she kept getting sick I was worried about dehydration and was trying to find a hospital so I could ask a nurse to inquire if she needed to see a doctor again.
I probably got about 3 hours of sleep and I figured that it would be enough for me to still do the reading. It seemed like Mina was done being sick in the morning because she was fine for several hours, but she got sick a couple more times and we decided to go home. My sister agreed to do the reading for the wedding. James bought a bucket at Target so Mina could get sick all she liked on the way home. She slept most of the way home though.
So far since we've been home she has been pretty much ok. I'm glad that she feels better. We watched some Christmas movies "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and whatever Cartoon Network had before that...some Loony Toons thing.
I still have two sewing projects(boot covers and a tote bag), two craft projects(Darth Vader ornaments and a quilted ornament) and two cooking projects(lemon tart and peanut butter fudge....maybe sugar cookies) to do before Christmas. I still have to wrap almost all of the gifts I bought too(I'll do that after Mina goes to sleep). I'm not too worried about it though, I have enough time.
2007/12/11 09:43 I survived this past quarter of school well enough. I got two "B-"'s and an "A". Next quarter I'm taking Costume Design, Art History, German 212 and Math 117.
I'm mostly working on wedding planning. Oh and my dissolution from my first husband will be final on Thursday! finally(we've been separated for a few years, so it was just a matter of paperwork.
2007/10/06 14:46 I haven't posted in a little while...mostly busy with school
I've been trying to write a paper about Genghis Khan's land empire, but I keep losing my focus...at least the thesis is done. It's due in on Monday.
I also have a German test this coming week... I have a feeling that I'm forgetting something else school-related...
I'm getting a new tattoo today at Evolved...so I guess I'll post that after it is done. I'll try to get some nice pictures online tonight or tomorrow.
I ordered a new cell phone, it's the LG Strawberry Chocolate from Verizon, I can't wait to get it. As far as later on goes I think I'm just going to lay around the house later on and watch movies or something.
well, I need to finish doing some stuff before I head out for Columbus.
