2008/12/27 13:00 I'm starting to think that some things are just meant to be. I've been dying to get back into Absolution for ages to get more work done, but for a million annoying reasons I wasn't able to...then, while I was out grocery shopping I bumped into Naith and it kinda reminded me that it's been far too fuckin' long since my last tattoo was done(Oh, the joys of living in a city of 400 000, instead 4 000 000).
Anyway, I dragged my arse down to the studio and was able to get a slot booked in before Xmas.
Fiona Skipper is the newish apprentice (She drew and altered the Pan and Nymph design on my leg) and she laid my tattoo down, after I spent a few sleepless nights researching the 41 558 different fonts available from one of the websites that the guys and girls from Absolution recommended. Roughly two hours later, Fi had redesigned the tattoo with the font I wanted, altered the size and tapered it from the edges of my shoulders to the centre of my back and finished all of the lining (Which wasn't that painful) then the shading (Which WAS that painful).
I'm not sure why, but this tattoo is the most meaningful, it was the most important one to get done and the one that I was most worried about not being done "right". Strength and honour.....forever.
2008/05/16 17:09 Hmmmmm, it seems like my modification progress is either a feast or a famine. Against my better judgement (Piercing Vs. Bills) I shot down to absolution again. The temptation of shiny new rings was too much for a mere mortal like me, and they seemed so lonely sitting in a draw at Absolution all by themselves. ;-(
This time round it was a lil bit more complicated. I had to have a couple of rings removed from my ladder, which were gonna be but into my nipples. Tim removed them and threw all the jewelry he was gonna insert in me into the autoclave. When all was done, the fun begun. ;-)
So, I'm gonna state this first. Tim is definately the most professional and enthusiastic piercer that I've met. I have a hell of a lot of trust in the man's talents.....However, this time round it was more like a comedy of errors.....!!!
All five remaining scrotal ladder rings come out (3.2mm/8Ga), Seven brand new shiny ones go in without too much pain (4mm/6Ga). No problems at all.
Barbells in my nipples were taken out (2.6mm/10Ga)and the taper rod was inserted in the piercing. This was when I kinda got worried, looking down and seeing just how much of the rod had to go through to stretch the hole. Seriously the most painful thing Tim has done to me, yet. He was even concerned enough for his own safty that he took a BIG step back after he finished putting the smooth segment ring in. Second nipple was worse, there seemed to be even more of the tapering rod to go through than the first one. Half way through my tender flesh, Tim had to stop to change gloves, because he couldn't maintain a decent grip on the rod. When he finally did, the flesh was still really tight and he had to use some serious strength to finish the stretch (3.2mm/8Ga).
Weird thing about the pain afterwards. Scrotal ladder was fine, literally no pain at all unlike previous stretches. Nipples were diabolical, still tender and painful a few days afterwards.
2008/05/01 19:49 So, it's been fuckin' ages since I've had anything worthwhile to update. I caught up with Naith this morning and he did some more ink for me. Touched up some parts of Pan and added a little bit of contrast, added heaps of the background and the nymphs, my dirty lil nymphs. I couldn't be more impressed. It worked out to be about 3hrs in the chair. Got talking to Tim my professional hole poker and he said my new bigger, badder, chunkier, funkier, rings have finally arrived......Soon.
