2009/11/19 21:39 Not only do I like knowing that no one can get in my room now (my old lock had one of those small holes that you just had to stick a paper clip or other small object in to undo the lock) without a key. Theres the feeling that none of my younger brothers friends or my brothers will be taking stuff from my room anymore which is good and theres also the simple joy of having to unlock something to get in. It makes a room feel a bit more like a home...I remember how glad I was to have that when I lived in the dorms and at my house at rutgers. I don't know why that makes me so happy but it just does.

2009/11/18 17:42 Got an 85 last time without so much opening the book...ever. This time I actually studied a bit and I'm going to put some equations we need on the periodic table we're allowed to use (and allowed to write on...sweet). Today was I think my 90th day of work, without missing work at all. I think I'm making up for how I was always absent from my two years at rutgers and my entire high school career haha.
I've started to check into my options for after my job is over and for the next job. I asked torrie if her dad's box factory/warehouse/plant might be hiring now that the economy is picking up a bit. She said that apparently her dad wouldn't hire me because of my tattoos and piercings (...for a factory..) She said that he felt like the other workers might be uncomfortable around me...even though he knows me and knows how nice and smart I am. Oh well. I still find it funny though, I mean I would expect that from someone who doesn't know me and thinks I'm just some punk with tattoos. At least that wasn't one of my major options, I didn't even think about it until a few seconds before I asked her.
BTW, people who want christmas cards, I'm gonna need your addresses soon.
