I just bought an AMAZING new bike. AMAZING. it's coming to work for the first time with me tomorrow. hopefully I can actually ride it...stupid kidney infection....
on the other hand, after accidentally being late 2 hours (holy fuck... i know! i overslept! after falling asleep on the couch! It's HARD to adjust to getting up at 4 am every day...)
and then getting a friggin' kidney infection which kept me from work yesterday and sent me home after an hour today...I really hope my much complimented quick learning will be enough to compensate at work. I'm not sure my boss particularly cares for me, as she has made comments to my coworker/friend about my too-loud-talking and she mentioned that she thought I was using the internet for personal use (...I wasn't, but that is neither here nor there...)
I just really like my new job. I guess I'd better step up starting tomorrow and prove it, huh?
