2010/02/06 19:31 Working at NOMAD and been pumping out piercings,a few scar pieces and a little mod work... it feels funny but the kid still has it apparently. After 13 years I would hope I wouldn't just forget it all...so its been fun. strange... I guess I just needed a sebatacle.
2010/01/14 17:30 Last night I went to dinner with a couple of friends in town from Vegas. We went to a place called "Opaque", in San Francisco. The entrance to the place was just a black doorway with no sign and a person standing next to a monitor just beyond the door.
Once the reservations were confirmed, we were escorted down a flight of stairs into the basement of the building. Once there we were handed our menus to choose between our courses. I went with an ahi tuna tartar for my starter, grilled salmon over peppercorn risotto and broccilini with a lemon beurre blanc, followed by a citrus panna cota with fresh berries and a Chardonnay.
The staff, we are informed are all legally blind that are catering to our needs for the evening, needs like finding our seat in a pitch black dining room and bringing us bowls of water to wash our selves off with. It was great and I highly suggest that you go eat in the dark as well.

2009/12/19 18:50 Another year is coming to a close and I couldn't be happier. I always think that the next year will be better than the last, and in many ways that is true. I will say that with each year, life gets a bit tougher and it seems to go by a lot quicker. I am in a good spot mentally and what not so I have no major complaints as the last few weeks of 2009 tick away.
a note on the idea of new years resolutions. Being a person that makes and breaks them every year I have decided that my new years resolution is to remain in the present moment at all times ( or as much as I can )
that way, if I am present, everything else will fall into place.
