Owner of Infinite Body Piercing, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, and infinitebody.com.

I started piercing friends in 1989, and started working in a shop environment in March of 1993. Infinite Body Piercing was incorporated in November of 1994, and I opened the shop (with Megg Mass and Tiffany Suhm) February 1st, 1995.

I serve on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Piercers. From 2005 to May of 2008 I served as the Medical Liaison, after which I started my three years as the organization's President. Since 2005, I have also been the editor of The Point: The Quarterly Journal of the Association of Professional Piercers. For those of you not familiar with the APP, the site is safepiercing.org. Back issues of The Point can be downloaded for free here.

My articles published by BMEnews are here, here, and here.

I have a BFA degree in Jewelry/Metalsmithing from The University of the Arts, which I received in 1993.

I am an avid yoga practitioner. When I am in Philadelphia I practice here. When I am in Chicago I practice here.

I am a passionate traveler and photographer. My travel and photo blog is here.

I am also an Apple geek. My iPhone photo blog is here.

Modifications (for those that like to keep track...)

NAVEL- Done 14g, now at 6g
NIPPLES- Done 14g, now at 1/2"
GUICHE- 3, now at 6g
GLANS SPLIT- I had an apadravya done at 14g, and over the years I managed to stretch it to a 00g. I eventually cut forward on the bottom for a meatotomy, and then the top for a partial glans split. I had the top split, but with regrowth it didn't get too much longer.
PRINCE ALBERT-Done after the first split, placed further back. Now at 8g.
TONGUE WEB- Cut (twice)
EARS-Multiple piercings, starting when I was 15 years-old. Eventually stretched to 5/8", and then sewn shut by Steve Haworth. Now pierced at 8g.
Retired piercings (and implants) are too numerous to mention...
GENITAL BEADING-Ten 5/32" stainless steel balls, in the frenum area.
BRANDS- Small circles on the back of my calves, done by Raelyn Gallina.
TATTOOS- Various symbols on wrists (including the Infinite symbol). Half sleeve (portrait of The Velvet Underground, including Nico and Warhol) done by Jeff Kohl on left arm. Full sleeve by Horiyoshi lll on right arm.
I am currently having laser removal treatments done to lighten all the tattoo work on my left forearm. When done (by 2009, I hope) I will be having it covered with new work.

Piercers and body modification artists that have done work on me include- myself (with my friend Paul sometimes helping...), Dan Kopka@Gauntlet, Raelyn Gallina, John Paul McConnell (one of Philadelphia's first piercers, and the man who let me watch when I started; Thank You), Tiffany Suhm, Megg Mass@Infinite (of course), Sean McMannis, Steve Haworth, and Jon Weir and Kevin Jump@Infinite.

"Fixing the problem...
2010/01/21 17:47 ...doesn’t mean voting out the feckless Democrats or the obstructionist Republicans. It doesn’t even mean voting out Senator Lieberman. As long as our legislative process is held in thrall to an economy of influence that nearly requires members to play nice with the special interests, the will of the people — on the left and on the right — will continue to be stymied on every issue, in every Congress, under every administration."
