Whoa! Hey strangers... been a while. I been busy, that whole bit..
SOO! I started a garden. My yard was wretched, so it took a few days of hard work. I pulled the I'm-too-weak-to-use-this-shovel act, my husband finally started helping and now he's more into it than I am. But it's great to get outside and spend time together doing something like that.
We planted: okra, artichoke, two different luttuces, broccoli, spinach, green onions, eggplant, cucumbers, celery, strwaberries, canteloupe and watermelons.. and all the necessities for salsa [tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, etc.]. And some flowers. Everything is doing great except the okra. But the plan was to just plant everything, and something was bound to grow. I set my expectations low [one healthy, edible vegetable is my goal] to decrease my rate of failure and dissapointment.
We just went to Eugene, OR for the Oregon Ink Festival. That was fun, all the artists were busy, the art gallery was amazing and made me so depressed I can't shell out thousands for art right now.. The Suicide Girls were gorgeous as always!
New tattoo on tuesday!! back of my left arm above the elbow; big bright golden horseshoe. It'll be great.
I'm in love with Roller Derby! I have never gotten so into a sport while being in the audience. Those girls are incredible, I quickly leraned the game and could tell that they know what the fuck they're doing. And they're tougher than shit. Turns out there is a league real close to me and I'm definitely checking it out.
And last, but not least: Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the shit.
