2009/08/07 13:51 Oops. Haven't posted in forever. Life has been crawling by lately. I am still looking for a job, and waiting for my homestead tax returns to come. I'm not going back to school in the Fall, and I'm trying to get my metals piece back from my teacher... but he isn't replying to my emails. Really lame. I've been painting a little bit more, but without money I can't even afford new paints. I'm trying to get a barista job or an organic foods store job... basically something that won't care about my large ear lobes. Z (1)

Wretched

2009/05/12 12:59 I haven't updated in forever because nothing terribly interesting has happened. Although, I stretched my nostrils to 16g and am continuing to do so. My ears are now at 1 1/4" thanks to Kaos softwear. School is officially over. I um... withdrew from all classes about three weeks ago. Great job. Time to find work again... hopefully bartending, barista-ing, or landscaping. I had better hit up craigslist. Been listening to a lot of Wretched and Origin lately. Great Lol

2009/04/04 16:18 So it's been forever since I've made an update, but here it goes: I got both nostrils pierced about 3 weeks ago at 18g and I'm going to start stretching them relatively soon. I'm going to get my philtrum pierced in a while as well. I have been dreaming vividly and abstractly for the past 3 weeks. This week I have been on a bender. I am wearing this ridiculous Jordan hat in these pictures because of aforementioned bender. I took it from a girl whom I have been "bending" with. I believe this inexplicable insanity is the result of nice weather. My metals piece is almost done. So damned close. Pics soon. Of China (7)

Veil of Maya

2009/03/05 15:03 In a few hours I'm going to Veil of Maya and After the Burial at a local theater. I love smaller more intimate shows and this place has pretty damn good sound. I think I'll pound wine before I go. My metals piece is coming along nicely. There's still a lot of work to do on it, though. Played about 500 hours of Battlefield: Bad Company this week. Like woah. 2009/02/22 14:46 So I have an absolute shit ton of work to do today. I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed. I went to a party last night and had a minor breakdown half way through due to anxiety. Totally weird... I'm never normally like this. Whatever. I'm going to try to get both of my nostrils pierced today. I want to also get my conches and flats punched relatively soon, but I don't know if I trust the shop that is local to me. They're not really into the more hardcore type mods... although they do dermal punches. Here's a few more pictures of me recently. My ears are healing a little better as it is tending to be a tiny bit less cold lately. I'm still listening to Beneath the Massacre just about every day. I love their new CD a ridiculous amount. Shaved...

2009/02/18 00:33 So I shaved all of my hair off two nights ago... cept the beard of course. I guess I don't know exactly why I did it? Maybe just to see how it looked? I'm kinda going bald so I said fuck it... couldn't stand my hair without a hat. It'll grow back eventually, but it's super nice not having to shampoo and take care of and all of that bs. Maybe I'll keep it short for a while... not this short, but short enough. The other night I went to see The Faceless, Meshuggah, and Cynic at my local venue. Meshuggah was fucking awesome and the Faceless owned as well. Cynic are great musicians, but not really my type of music. Been listening to a lot of Obscura and Kronos lately. Both super good bands. Check them out if you're curious. I've been cooking a ton more... yellow chicken curry, porkchops and applesauce, vegetable stir fry, cornbread, sweet potatoes, chili, salmon patties, breaded tilapia fillets, etc. etc. blah blah. I remember each piece like it was artwork, haha. I love to cook. I'm a little behind in some of my classes, but I'm catching up now. Here are some photos of work that past students have done in my metalsmithing class. I'm thinking of doing a Steampunk inspired eyepatch or a patina'ed copper and bronze hand/gauntlet type thing. We'll see. I have a 32" by 40" painting due next week. I'll post pictures of all of this once it's done. I finally got a digital camera so here are a few pics. I also just got an iPod touch. That thing is like crack it's so addicting. I will attempt to use it in moderation. Seacrest out. ...Clean (5)
