So my lobes have been hating me the past few days. I couldn't figure out what was going on. The inner part (the pierculaaaa) was fine. No redness, no pain, no scabbing. Nothing. But my actual lobe was getting all scabby. And it was only on one side, the front. Just today it clicked that I've been wearing black o-rings.
FUCKING DUH! My skin doesn't like those. Jesus.
I switched to some clear ones and now everything should be fine. If only this had clicked sooner. Haha, damn I'm truly an idiot sometimes.
There isn't a whole hell of a lot going on in my life. I'm really lonely. That's the long and short of it. Ah well. Such is life, I suppose.
[Also, I desperately want my wing tattoos. Desperately. O___O]
2008/10/17 22:37 I scalpelled my ears and they're healing amazingly well. If I ever remember to, I'll post the post I made in stretched, over here. We'll see.
Also, I have 12 cats. WHAT THE FUCK WHY!? They're cute, but jesus. So many. @__@;
2008/02/13 14:38 So rather than wait for my camera to return from the clutches of its evil captor [-cough- Emily], I decided to just go ahead and do a simple stretch. I'll be scalpelling to 2ga though. That's for sure. Anyway...
My right ear took the taper easily [and feels fucking great right now] my left ear... wasn't too accepting... I shoved the taper through anyway [stupid, stupid, stupid] and everything was fine. My lobe felt perfectly okay when I woke up [tight like a virgin, but okay]. But I decided not to tempt fate and I took out the plug in my left ear.
Now I'm 4ga in my right ear and 6ga in my left. Harsh. Really harsh. I'm waiting a week and I'm going for it again [and when I say week... I mean I'll be trying again by saturday]. We'll see how things go.
[as an aside- I believe I go 4 days without working next week (who knows why) so I'll probably be getting my nose redone that week along with my inner conches. Yes. I know you shouldn't get more than one piercing at a time (and I should probably wait for my nipples to fully heal)... but my body handles piercings really well, so I should be (for all intents and purposes) fine.]
2008/01/26 15:16 Finally, I'm part of the IAM community. It's pretty nice.
I've been looking through the Industrial section and I'm really thinking about getting 2 done next week. Or possibly my inner conchs. I don't know because I don't know what my work will allow me to have. We'll see.
Anyway, just posting this to see if it works. =)
