Weekend adventures
2009/11/16 17:17 Had a great weekend going to visit a friend of mine over in Reading for a weekend of gaming. However there was a lot of mixed fortues:
Bad News: My MP3 player died, not sure if it is worth trying to get it repaired or just replaced. To skint for either ATM. Might just wait until next year when I plan to get an IPone anyway, and get a 32GB one to use as a replacement as well as my phone (rather than the 8GB as planned).
Good News: I came in the top 8 of a 90 person M:tG PTQ, second one ever. Interesting to note the difference in reactions to the recommencement of issuing Top 8 pins, between the people who regularly make top 8s - indifference and scorn, to people like me that don't - happiness.
Bad News: My exhaust pipe broke - rusted all the way through.
Good News: It only cost £35 to get it fixed, and I managed to sort it on the sunday as well.
2009/11/11 13:34 My flatmate has finally moved in and we did a bunch of rearranging stuff last night. The new place is starting to feel a bit more like home now, looking forward to when we can afford the furniture we need to get everything sorted. Phoneline will be connected tomorrow, now I need to sort out broadband. No net at home sucks ass!
