Ok..so I am not a voyeur, but I am a bit of a technopeasant when it comes to creating/uploading, blah, blah. IAM baffled by how to put some things on this page in the same way IAM baffled by the dissapearance of one of my socks in every load of laundry. IAM happy to take suggestions or basic instructions.....

What I can do right now is to link to my website and start there.

Or maybe it should go somewhere else??? Sigh......

Home again, home again jiggety jig
2009/07/08 13:03 This was a "quickie" road trip in my book. Less than 2 months, but lots of ground covered.

I started in Missouri doing a gig I have done for years. I am the person in charge of all of the classroom equipment that makes an RV Rally of about 2,000 people work. LCD projectors, electrical hookups, screens, tables, chairs and on and on. Up at 6am every day to be sure the days rooms are all set and ready to go for each of the nearly 60 presenters. Funny as hell working with a bunch of old, retired and mostly full time RV'ers who have these presentations to give but can't find the power switch on their computers. The down side was the continual rain!!! sucked.......

It was GREAT to check out a shop in Kansas City where an old friend set up a class. Thanks Martin....it was awesome. I am looking forward to being back there next year to take Derek up on that "best ribs in town" offer. (Irezumi)

Then on to Pennsylvania where I got to spend some time with one of the most amazing women I have ever met. Julia is going to be a name many of you will come to know in the upcoming years. She kicks some serious ass and got a bunch of the local slackers to get it together and come to a class. (Fyre Body Arts)

A drop in on Seth and Lee in North Carolina was a break in the classes and the long days of driving. It is always good to see them. You really do need to drop into his shop in Raleigh if you are around. Very Zen in some ways but certainly no lack of things to install in your body. (Pro Gress Piercing)

On to Kentucky where I had the luxury of parking my house on wheels behind Amy's shop (Twisted Images) for a few days. Rodney, her biz partner and I took some long walks all over the Highland area of Louisville. People sitting outside at 11pm at night eating at local establishments was my idea of a civilized place to live. I will be back there for sure!

Back on the road and on to Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and finally back in Palm Springs. Spending time with friends and working on my home brewing skills, picking up geocaches and letterboxes, hiking with the dog in some places that require more time than it takes to watch "Roots" to get to and taking in some ceremony time with my two spirit family.

Hopefully I will get the pics sorted out and try and get some posted!

Where's Waldo?
2009/06/11 16:10 Here I am just outside of Harrisburg, PA. On my way to Fyre Body Arts in Perkasie. Julia has rocked a class for Monday June 15. It's not to late to jump in. Let either her or I know. Lunch is included and is REALLY good. The facility where the class is takes good care of us by fixing a great lunch with considerations for all eating requirements.

Next stop will be Raleigh NC. No class...just a couple of days to see old friends and go to a couple of museums I have wanted to get to for a while.

There is a move afoot to have a class in Kentucky as well. Most likely the last week of June. Interested? Let me know.

My trip to Missouri was grand.....here is what I did with my spare time........snicker......

What's new?
2009/04/16 09:14

Here we are into April already. Damn.....where does the time go? Just some updates in case you are interested.

First, I have a couple of autoclaves for sale. As most of you know, I am an autoclave tech who repairs, maintains, rebuilds and services those little machines we all rely on so heavily.

There is a completely rebuilt M7 for $850 plus shipping. It includes the operating manual and the rack and tray system. It has been completely rebuilt and thoroughly cleaned, run through its paces and is ready to go out the door. I can send pics if you would like.

Then there is a Prestige 2100 for $500 plus shipping. The operating manual and the instrument basket is included. THESE MACHINES ARE NOT INTENDED FOR WRAPPED INSTRUMENTS!! However, if you use a Statim and are looking for bulk sterilization that takes up very little space, then you might want to consider this one.

I am also on the hunt for those units that YOU have shoved in a closet, or under the counter or sitting on a shelf in the backroom because it doesn't work. I am looking to purchase non working units so I can strip them down for parts. Let me know what you have and we can talk about the particulars.

Second, I am working on the annual summer road trip. I will be in Missouri from May 20 through May 30 on a personal matter, but then will head for Kansas City for classes. I have scheduled 2 classes in the KC area. If you are interested in more information, please contact me for particulars.

Then, I am headed for Pennsylvania (in the Philadelphia area) for a class on June 14.

From there heading back in a westerly direction I tentatively have Minnesota on the list for the middle to end of June. No firm dates on this one yet, but I will post them once we settle on what those are. The class will be in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area.

Finally, there is a class in Southern California on the books for April 29 in Anaheim. It will be at DMS Supply company (tattoo and piercing supplier). Space is limited, but let me know if you would like to attend this one. It is happening in less than 2 weeks so get on it!!

I am really looking forward to APP this year. For the first time in a long time I will NOT have a booth. I have missed being able to hang out and just be "there". I will be co-presenting a couple of classes and will have oodles of things to give away, so come find me.

That's enuff for now.

Update on BBP classes
2009/03/04 08:05 The dates for the Seattle class have changed. The new date is April 6. Plenty of time to get it together and plan on being there. I spring for the Pizza so long as there is no pineapple on it!!
