Implant project, a chain for the inportantt body lines. Series of chains along the collar bones (from shoulder to shoulder), in a Y form added a line from tha madison place down to the pubic hair, a wing shaped figure added: pupic - hip lower side - upper side - navel on both sides. All in all 28 implants of differing chain length (3 - 13cm), 21 of them quite fresh on not yet completely healed, but on the way.
Planned: Left shoulder piercing (deep), implants around the nipples ("elongation" of the piercings)
Retired: 3 of 4 navel piercings (navel star was planned) :-(

2009/08/19 01:49 My suspension piercings needed training again this summer... No not really, but I was very happy to be able to use them twice for a 6Pt angel suspension. Once indoor in Switzerland at the IAM meeting, the other time in Bad Kösen, at the Summerfly Summercamp.
Indoor in Switzerland was unplanned improvisation, due to bad weather, nice for an indoor place, but.... not comparable to the outdoor fun.
Switzerland meaned: very well behaving pierincgs before, but quite some stress for them, the oozed quite somewhat, and after they needed more than one week to be Ok, and even after 2 weeks I still felt some slight roughness at the entry points.
It was my first piercing-free suspension, and I was really scared if that would work, now, there is no adjustment of the body, that there is a painful force comimg! It might be too painful? It was definitely more painful during the first pulling, till the beginning of the flying. But it was bearable. And finally the pain did what I am used to (and what I want it to do: IT VANISHED COMPLETELY - the wodnerful flying, floating in mid air feeling remained. Even without yet using the leg piercings (these are not healed well enough yet) for a superman, so with more force on the back, it worked out well, a 6pt angel from my backpiercings is a GOOD suspension.
Berlin... oh... Kukulau close to Bad Kösen, stays for everything is different. The weather was great there, real blistering hot summer with temperatures way above 30 degrees centigrade, sunshine, a little bit of wind. And piercings which were behaving ugly 2 weeks before, but nice one week before. BUT - at suspension day, they were doing strange things. Feeling nice, but beeing really red (see the picture with the fresh inserted hooks inside), and as soon as the hooks were inserted they DID NOT feel good anymore, there was a pressure pain and quite a lot of. Particularly nasty there was the first pulling, after waiting for a minute or 2, that was way improving, and after a slow careful start - the hangign was really nice, and strangely enough, the piercing were not oozing a lot at all. During hanging they ware already looking better than during the swiss meeting, and despite the fact of longer time up there, the piercings started to behave well already 2 days after (looking better and less stressed, than directly before), now the third day, also the stressed feeling faded away. the back piercings in good condition after only 3 days past suspension? Neverhad that before... That should be always that fast....

2008/11/11 01:53 Now after two suspensions on them, my permanent hooking up - surface piercigns still do well. They to better then well, behaving perfect, and I can't wait to use them again for flying on steel. While I have to wait now (maybe I find some of that waiting time useful to write an experienca...?), the piercings are at least looking nice, giving me some oppurtunity to play with the camera, the nicest toy on earth.
having a nice mixture of artificial yellowish light from above, natural diffuse blueish one from the side and reddish one reflected from the sofa, I got some really nice coloring effects, which I improved a bit via image processing on the computer.
But not only the back is a valuable photo-object, also the chain piercings - at least the ones which behave nice, are so. The navel, best heald and best located for photography using both hands, was the model for some macro photography. You can even (barely due to low contrast between the cells) see single skin cells.
The last picture on topic shows one of the implanted siver chains close to (above) the navel. Some of the silver leaked into the skin, beeing deplyed at very most the same region were also tattoo ink finds its final resting place, but mostly around the perspiratory glands, visible as darker grey spots. You also see the black chain beneath the skin, which seems to be quite distorted, light refraction of the tissue on its work. As I stretched the skin for the picture, the chain is pulled a little bit, and the last loop pulls the skin, creating a 3mm wide ring-valley in the skin. Inside the loop nothing pulls, so you see a small mountain of skin.
The very last picture is off topic, revealing the structure of a small nevus, The dark spots are the melanocytes (and the surrounding stained tissue), the cells responsible for our skin colour. There are too much of them, too active on that spot, that means unfotunately also a slight increase in cancer risk - for each one of these moles, for each one of these dark spots - the somewhat deregulated melaocytes. Hopefully, none of them will completely slip out of the cellular regulation network of the body

it is.... like seeing an anchester of a true Terminator, it reminds a lot the movement of the T800 in the movie. make it stable enough, protected enough, find a way to give it energy for longer terms, yet batteries are short lived, and then...
Seeing that the defense ministry is funding the project gives a strange touch of "are we opening Pandora's box"?
