Hello, my name is Thomas O'Brien. Its is great to be here on IAM with so many other people that share my love of body modification. True, I don't have many mods at this point in time, but it gives me something to work towards. I currently have only a few scarifications, but soon after I get the money together I will move on to tattoos and piercings. My parents aren't too thrilled about any of this, but as I keep trying to tell them, it is not just a passing fad and this is something that I feel I need to do to reclaim my body from the restrictions that society has put on it. I am a satanist and even thought of joining the Church of Satan, but I believe an organized approach to ideas and religion takes away from individuality.

2007/05/07 23:09 Got my first ever piercing today. Was kind of a weird experience (not pain or mental wise). You can read about it in my experience (when I finish). At least my scarifications are coming along.

2007/04/30 22:57 I am almost done with my latest piece (I will post for all to see when finished). Starting to get better at the skin removal part of things and I am working on thickening the line work. Hopefully I am going to cut my rune back open to remove some skin, but I'm having a lot of fun with the blood and stuff. I'm getting my first tattoo by the end of May and I'm really excited. Healing
2007/04/15 02:02 My Yew tree/Yggdrasil/death rune/wolf's hook/Odin leg scarification is starting to heal nicely. I had to keep cutting it back open because I didn't use a scalpel (I know bad idea) but the depth is finally right and it should heal fairly evenly. Now to move on to a nice 666 scarification. I need a few more occult symbols and such to complete my leg of darkness. I have great plans for my legs and even greater plans for my back, but thats another story.

2007/04/06 11:24 I'm slowly getting my page to look better. It is taking a little getting used to, but I should have it looking better within the week. I'm really only talking to myself here but hey, gotta start somewhere.
