I do not believe that a person should be judged based on their appearance, religion, race, sexual preference, or anything else for that matter. It is my belief that everyone has a right to live their life the way they want as long as it doesn’t infringe upon another persons right to do the same. I also believe that judging a person on their external appearance and circumstantial information is a very sad and empty way to live your life. True beauty can only be seen when you view a persons soul, and sadly there are many people in today’s society that are unwilling or afraid to take the time to look beyond the surface. Individuality is a wonderful and beautiful thing, without it, we would all be clones and life would become very boring very quickly. Don't get me wrong, I agree that outward appearances DO count. But for very different reasons. When you look good, it often makes you feel good about yourself. My idea of what looks good and somebody elses may conflict. Does that make either of us wrong? No - it makes us individuals with individual tastes. A positive thing in my eyes.
