| 2006/10/25 04:24 Hello The Enigma Back again. I gotta tell you all about my first body mod. Well It all started when I was six years old and I started modifying my fingers by strengthening them up as much as possible by playing piano. Of course people saw me as a total freak of nature as I played piano at such an early age and was able to glide across a keyboard with ease. Yes you may laugh but I know that anytime you alter the body whether its doing sit-ups or getting a sun tan there is discomfort involved and this case was no exception. I ended up being excluded from the "group" as I was too busy practicing piano and learning scales to associate with my peers. I ended up spending much of my youth in the back seat of a car going back and forth to private lessons living off comic books and casseroles. I also modified my ambiture by playing the flute when I gained the age of nine. This modification although subtle was enough to create yet another rift in the social climate of public education since I was already showing an amazing amount of skill for playing the flute before any of the others in my age bracket. I don't feel like going into all the tap and ballet lessons I had right now but I think you get the picture as to what I had to experience in my early years of "Modification".
Stay tuned for more of the adventures of THE ENIGMA. |

| 2006/10/24 05:39 My latest body modification, my horns, are made of hard plastic and are not a great thing to have unless you are in the business of selling tickets. They are always in the way of hats and helmets (if you ride a motorcycle it is difficult to get a helmet to fit without hurting the tips. The tips are the most sensitive part. It's like putting a knuckle where there shouldn't be one.
Somersaults are also much more dangerous as well as hand and head stands. All in all, being the first one to come up with this modification, I think I should have considered the possibilities of doing a more physical performance and how this might interfere. |
