So, which will it be? Sunrise or embrace? 
| Would you rather see the sunrise, or have my embrace? Goodness, I hate talking about myself! If only because it makes me feel so self-absorbed. Nonetheless, if you’ve taken the time to visit my page, I owe you this much.
I suffer from over-ambition. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a gazillion things planned. This results in sleep deprivation, over-spending on books and courses, being scattered all over and being unappreciative of vacations (I’m way too restless!).
My main hobbiese are video editing and photography… though, as you might guess, I have many others. I’m currently working on a Doctorates degree in clinical psychology. (I just finished a Masters degree in cognitive science (a mix of computer science, biology, philosophy and psychology…. How geeky?)) Having ADHD and a heavy dyslexia, I feel the need to help others make the best out of their learning disabilities. It must be made less insufferable.
Unfortunately, English is my fourth language (after French, Italian and Spanish) and while it isn’t my least fluent, it will make you put up with the occasional grammatically induced heart attack.
IAM: 25y/o, 6’ tall, greenish-brown eyes and overall weird.
I'm trying to get back in shape... so that I take the goal seriously, here's my progress for all to see:
Piercings: septum, labret, eyebrow, both nipples, apadravya and a 3-bar nape project. (Planning to get tons more!)
Tattoos: BME Devil (right butt cheek), designed by MikeManson, BME Elf (left butt cheek) and SG Logo (lower back).
Surgical: I have a split tongue and silicone implants in my shaft, a "PSI" (greek letter) sign implanted atop my left hand, and a "PHI" (greek letter) sign implanted atop my right hand.
So as to help you reading through my blog, entries preceded with “***” are related to the IAM:Fashionable DVD project. The other ones are just me indulging in self-centered blabber.

| 2010/01/25 00:24 My interview at Metropolitan State went MUCH BETTER than the one I had at UCLA... and they're both such amazing places! I feel so honored just to be in the finalists.
Wednesday will be my last interview, this time in Fresno.
*long sigh* and if I can finish my dissertation by mid March, I will be in good shape.
In the mean time, I drown in work and homework. Thank goodness for my hobbies to prevent me from going insane! :-S

| 2010/01/05 15:47 Of course, to become a head doctor, you have to be an intern for a year, under the supervision of other head doctors... what they don't tell you when you apply and work your way through the program, is that these positions are hard to get.
So, I interviewed at UCLA yesterday, and interviewed okay... not stellar, by any means, but okay. They received over 300 applications, interviewed some 40 of us, and will ultimately keep 2 or 3.
I don't stand a chance :-S
But nonetheless, Metropolitain State Hospital is next... *fingers crossed*
I figure more photography might keep me distracted from the anxiety of it all. :-S

2009/11/24 06:59 I hate this time of year... basically we get American thanksgiving week
"off", which means we have to spend the whole week studying and writting papers... after 23 years of school, I don't exactly feel like working 18 hours/day on my schoolwork :-(
So, I'll try to cut corners a little bit and edit some photography. :-S

| 2009/07/30 02:20 SleepyKitty and I are off to an unplanned short trip through Ottawa, Toronto, Ottawa, and Columbus (OH)... we hope to do lots of photography...
If anyone's interested, please let us know! We'll be in Ottawa Aug. 1st, Toronto the second through the 7th, then Ottawa again until the 12th, then Columbus until the 15th... Crazy, right? Many plane rides, as it turns out. I'll have limited equipment, but that shouldn't take away from the fun.

| 2008/08/18 19:15 JesiiKitty and I went to the Japanese Tea Garden (part of the Golden Gate Park). I airbrushed her makeup and she wore a kimono.... kids everywhere thought she was soooo cool! Plus loads of people wanted to take a picture with her. No kidding, she is ADORABLE!!! YAY!
I can't wait to have the time to start photoshopping again!

| 2008/08/16 17:10 So, I picked them up from the airport this morning! Dan is very cool, and JesiiKitty is even more beautiful in person. She's got a really sweet voice and is super smart. Given they both have a great sense of humor, I think we'll have a great time!
And I can't wait to start taking pictures! |

| 2008/08/15 23:29 JesiiKitty and her boyfriend are flying over to come have fun with us for a whole week! Photoshoots everyday, lots of sightseeing... and most important of all, I get to finally meet her!
They were supposed to get here this evening but their airline totally screwed up 
Tomorrow morning though! I can't wait! |
