2009/11/16 19:38 So a week has passed since the marathon. Overall feel fine with the exception of my right knee. I hurt it a little (I hope just a little sprain) during a trail run yesterday which I got lost at one point. It was a blast doing since it is different from my norm.

Anyways, only four more days of work and then I have all next week off. Hooray!

2:37:31
2009/11/08 16:32 Not much to say other than.....NEW MARATHON PR of 2:37:31!!! Ran that just this morning in Harrisburg, PA. Today's time was 5 minutes off my previous best. Took 4th too. Totally did not expect either of those results. All I wanted was just to finish in 3:10 or under since I had not trained for this and opted to run it on Wednesday. Yes, a mere 4 days prior. Very happy with this. And Peg was super supportive of me out there. Even has a photo or two of me leading at around the 6.5 mile mark. I get just a rush thinking about it.

Another Friday....
2009/11/07 08:08 WEEKEND IS HERE!!!! AAAAAWEEEESSSSOOOOOMMMMEEEEE!!!!

Here's top hoping it will be tremendous! I know it will at least be eventful. (Even if I am sitting here smelling of Tiger Balm.)

Tomorrow, the plan: sleep in because Sunday is going to be an early start.

2009/11/06 08:32 Tomorrow is Friday and that is always instantly awesome! Heck yeah! Looking forward to a nice weekend.

Day of the Dead
2009/10/31 11:16 HAPPY HALLOWEEN FOLKS!!!!!!!

Currently, cranking THE MISFITS while Peg sadly had to go into work. We'll be heading out later which will be fun. Until then, I get to relax. Good times.

Tomorrow....race over the Ben Franklin Bridge. Heck yeah!

2009/10/27 19:33 In short...my 19 yr old sister is pregnant. This is not one of those joyous cases where my response would be....congrats. It is more like...WTF are you doing with your life and how are you going to care for your child without a job and any level of education....no GED or HS diploma. Yeah.....

Pre-Halloween Saturday....
2009/10/24 11:57 Ran today so that made me feel good after two days off. Did 7 miles over at St. Joes. It really is nice to be able to go a couple miles to there for running. Mixes it up nicely. For once it was daylight (or as much you could call 9:15 on a runny Saturday morning daylight but it is still 4 hours later than I am normally there) when I was there running because I woke up later than normal due to going to bed at 1am after the awesome Shooter Jennings show at World Cafe Live last night. Small weird crowd but it was nice to see him with no more than 200 people. Totally worth it as he played for an hour and a half. Didn't do much talking either but that was fine by me as it was just an awesome set.
