I am a body piercer looking for employment :) Too much drama and bullshit in the last shop. I was never formally apprenticed, but I was informally taught in a local piercing shop, overseen by a great piercer. I have been piercing now for about 5 years. I do most of my own mods, including self scalpelled ears, and a self split tongue.
I am a 27 year old Virgo, born in the Year of the Snake. I am originally from Kitchener, Ontario (Canada) but moved to Jacksonville over5 years ago after graduating from the University of Waterloo.

2005/03/28 22:24 We got our phone and net connection back Saturday. I managed to lose it for us :( I wanted to do something good, so mid last week I decided to remove all the creeping and sticking vines from the house and back fence. Unfortunately, while removing house vines, I managed to rip apart the phone wires... and we had to call Comcast to come out and repair the damage that I did. I felt like such a moron. I did not miss the phone (since I can't really use it anyways, but the Internet connection, that is a whole new ball game. I use it to talk to my mom :( And these days, I seem to be more 'mom-oriented'.
Got the nursery set up. Fortunately, Matt had a crib (from his son) so that spared us that. I went out and bought a glider with ottoman, crib mattress etc last week (before I killed the phone line). There is a consignment shop across the street from where we buy crickets for the tarantula, so we shopped there. Much cheaper than buying new, and since I have no plans on having more kids (since this one was a fluke, or rather a 'miracle' according to the ob/gyn who told me that I was sterile) there does not seem to be much of a reason to.
Things that are making more sense now that I know I am pregnant...
2005/03/19 15:45 1) constant thirst and urination... all night, every 30 minutes, and during the day every 10-15 minutes. I was worried that I was diabetic (since those are the 2 major warning signs. Now before all the armchair doctors say "gestational diabetes" I have already done the glucose test.
2) I cannot sleep on my stomach any more... it is too uncomfortable.
3) Why I look like I have gotten the greatest boob job on the planet. They have increased 2 cup sizes. I am not complaining (nor are E and M), but it explains a lot. I originally thought I was just gaining weight, but I have lost about 10 lbs since January.
4) Apparently, what I thought were just gas bubbles in my intestines is actually BabySlice kicking at me. It was annoying until I decided to consider it 'cute'... cause in a couple of months it will be highly annoying and these small jabs are nothing in the grand scheme of things.
5) Food cravings and aversions... self-explanatory.
6) Random trips to the bathroom to throw up; I thought it was my ulcer... it isn't.
In other news, Zeus (my 100lb great dane/black lab 'puppy') was on my belly earlier, and BabySlice was not amused so s/he started kicking up a storm. I rapidly shoved him off of me. BabySlice also seems to have M's temper. At the ultrasound s/he was prodded with the ultrasound wand, got mad at the 'bumping' from the wand and started pummelling it with fists and feet. Everybody else thought it was funny, my uterus and I did not.
The nursery will be done in Snoopy and Woodstock. Name will be either Amber Marie, or Kyle Brendan.

2005/03/15 23:19 I went in for my ultrasound appointment. The suspected 'fibroid' or mass has a spine and a heartbeat. After being told in October of 2003 that I did not ovulate, and was incapable of ever conceiving or carrying a child, I am now 18 weeks pregnant, and am due sometime around the middle of August. Since I haven't gotten my period since October of 2003, they have no way of figuring anything out, except based on current measurements.
2005/03/13 23:34 Well, I finally had my root canal last Friday. The antibiotics that they have had me on are making me evilly ill. I throw up all the time, and my stomach is killing me. All the vomiting is causing my abs to hurt like hell, and I think I pulled a pelvic ligament because every time I cough, my lower right abdomen hurts. Earlier today, I threw up an apple, and these was blood in the vomit. I know, I know, TMI. I just had to share though. I need this all to be over with. It also is wrecking havoc on my blood pressure, it dropped to 112/52 (80/60 the day before). I also had a pap smear last Thursday. My GYN is worried about the condition of my uterus, he thinks I may have uterine fibroids, so I am having an ultrasound done on Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday morning I go in to have my tooth crowned (and then the tooth bullshit is finished, and I can finish these antibiotics). Tons of fun. An internal ultrasound after they prod my mouth some more.
