| 2009/11/11 20:32 Not that I was ever really off the bike, but I had taken a few weeks off of structured riding. It was fun, wasnt riding too much, but got to ride MTB's with some buddys I hadn't seen in awhile. I also didn't have to stress if I didn't get a work out in. But, Im back into it now, Ive got about 11-13 hours for this week. I've got a new coach, and Im actually pretty pumped for where I'm headed this season.

2009/10/29 17:20 I tried to go ride today. Both my bikes are broke. So i tried to take the wheels off Lauras raod bike, and put them on my road bike. Different gearing(8sp to 10 spd.). Booo I took the saddle(seat)/seatpost off my road bike and adjusted it for my mountain bike. This bike is dirty from Sundays epic mountain bike race in Louisiana. So now it looks like I'm gonna go rock out in the garage and clean it. This sux as I wanted to go ride tonight. 2 hours or so. I needed to clean the bike though. I'm currently watching what I eat, as I am starting winter training + a few weeks of off/unstructured time, and not putting as many hours in. Eating like normal had caused me to gain a few pounds, my target weight for next season/wedding is 175. That would be a good competition weight range for me. Earlier this week I was 190, so some weight, but not too much. Im also starting weight training soon, and doing some Plyometrics so that should help me boost my metabolism.
