2010/02/09 00:20 just got a part time counseling position at st vincents school for boys, a residential treatment program for emotionally disturbed youth. Im excited to branch off in a new field of human services. Ill still be working at the detox on top of this. I think it will be a rewarding experience for me.
2010/02/06 21:42 is going to be insane. 9 days in a row I will be working, 2 different jobs. Should be worth it tho, financially. I worked detox yesterday and tonight, and then tomorrow. Monday thru Friday I will be filling in at my Dad's office, doing office work and then back again at the detox Saturday. Itll keep me busy.

2010/02/01 15:09 such a stressful weekend. Work has been nuts, and last night my my car breaks down. This is not what I need. Im stuck in the eastbay/SF area for a little bit while its in the shop.
2010/01/29 16:15 got In Flames' latest album. A lot of people don't like In Flames' newest material since 2002's Reroute to Remain, from which they have released 3 additional albums since then. Starting with that album they began to incorporate more clean vocals and catchier melodies, which is a huge departure from death metal's traditional growls and screams and overall brutal sound, however the bands popularity has skyrocketed and they have been achieving billboard success in the home country of Sweden, and a million Swedes cant be wrong, right? I also downloaded a couple albums from At The Gates, another Swedish death metal band and lastly a From Ashes Rise album, they remind me of Tragedy so I can dig em.
2010/01/28 23:55 back at 44mm. It feels nice to have plugs back in but my trick ear is still so sore, such a pain in the ass. I also ordered some gorilla glass clear pyrex tunnels in 2", they were only $15, so I pretty much had to grab them even if I already have a pair of 2" glass tunnels. Ill see which I like more and then sell the other pair. Other than working on my ears there isnt a lot to update anyone on. Ive been working a little more regularly, which is good. Got my car registered for another year. Been trying to see my friends as often as possible and putting off my homework. Thats pretty much it.

Hip hop and acoustic stuff is what I listen to when Im just down to chill out and Im feeling pretty chill right now. I also listen to a lot of hardcore and metal. Ive been making pretty good progress, each time I put in a size they almost immediately loosen to the next size, but Im still taking it slow cause my trick ear likes to get irritated easily. So even tho Im able to stretch up I still take my plugs out periodically.
