I stopped going to yoga this month because it's expensive and it's still only 1 exercise a week. My plan was to try to exercise at home, either yoga or wii fit, at least 3 times a week. It's free and it's more frequent. The problem is that it's at home. Too many distractions, not enough encouragement. I kind of miss yoga class. It feels good to let someone else kick your ass now and then. She always pushes me farther than I thought I could go.

Yea, I've been busy. The pup takes up a lot of my time... but this is not a bad thing in any way. In case I didn't mention it before I have a blog started to document her life here. It is actually updated fairly often. Other than that, things are good. Our house is feeling like home, Nick took the bar exam but we still have no results and he has no job, my new car is awesome, our puppy is amazing. My job still sucks and I'm, as usual, looking for a new one. I've also been putting a lot of thought into a new tattoo. My only one is almost 5 years old now (wow) and I feel that it's time for another. I have lots of vague ideas but nothing solid. I really just need to go down to the studio and talk to an artist about drawing something up for me. |

| 2008/08/04 05:52 Ok, when people say having a puppy is like having a baby, they aren't too far off. This little princess of mine has woken me up at 5am for the last 3 mornings. That sucks in itself but then I have almost 3 extra hours in the morning. I suppose I could try to use those hours constructively but it makes the rest of the day seem so long. I'm used to going to sleep around 11:30 or midnight. I could start going to sleep at 10pm but seriously, who's training who here?
