yes, your being paid to look a certain way.
no, it shouldnt matter to your co-workers or your customers as long as you can still do your retail job well.

tattoos accepted. scars not.
2007/01/05 23:27 im scareing some of my friends.
they don't all understand the beauty in self-mutilation.
i wish more people we're open minded to things other than tattoos and pircings.
cuts.. burns.. bruises.. they are all basicly the same as the becomingly more and more socialy accepted tattoos and pircings. they actualy might be better for some.. because they heal into nothing more than a faint white scar.
but wait.. then you wouldnt have anything to show for it so what would be the point right?
the point is, for me at least, is to release the tension, anger and whatever negative emotion i might be feeling at the time, into a healthy experience of a reminder of what control i have over my own body.
at least i tell myself it's healthy, i could be lying to myself im not totally sure. i know its not bad for me.. it dosnt bring me any closer to death or anything, i will be in the same physical state as i was the day before. ..hm this is my first diary entry.. i hope it was good.
