2009/02/12 18:22 I went to the dentist. I have one tooth with a bad chip on it. My Dentist recommended that I should take out my tongue ring. He told me that I could get it split or something. He made me take out all my piercings for the Xray. We laughed at the process.
I'm trying to decide when it would be financially feasible for me to get tattooed again. I still owe my parents a month's rent that I borrowed back in December when my boss stiffed me out of a months pay. Being a grown up isn't all it cracked up to be.
2009/01/18 19:48 Thanks to Brian Decker, my conches are doing so much better. I've been able to have reasonable length jewelry in them and I don't have to worry about people staring at them. They stare at them because they're big, not because they're gross now. I also stretched my lobes to 2-3/8". The cartilage in my left ear has a tooth that is pretty sore. Hopefully it will get better over time.

I'm still in Chicago. I'm on my third job. I've spent a total of 3 weeks unemployed. Better than the 9 months I spent unemployed in Indiana. The new place I work is super stable, plus my boss brags about my ears to clients.
I think I'm going to take measures toward healing my conches. They're still all pissy. I've talked to someone about branding them. I think it might work.
2007/12/27 16:24 I got a little bit of a wood reaction the other day. I'm swollen down into my my neck. It sucks just a little bit. The positive is that my ears are self heating.
It's really hard to photograph your own ear with on iPhone. That on screen button is hard to hit and not shake the whole thing. It's almost artist with the slant though.

2007/09/25 16:41 I've been dealing with a lot of crap lately and I'm on the verge of some pretty good breakthroughs. I got my conch piercing redone at 00ga and have proceeded to stretch them to 7/16" with an overall goal of 11/16". I had a pair of plugs that size that I stretched my lobes for, but I only wore them a few times until I stretched again. I'm really impatient.
2007/04/05 10:37 I've stretched my nipples to 0ga. I got jewelry from redneckzombi and he anodized them blurple with pink stripes with a blurple ball and a pink ball. They were expensive but awesome. They remind me of my favorite shoes.
2007/03/25 15:37 It's been over 2 months. I have my good days and I have my bad. I spent time in Chicago which was awesome. My luck says that I will meet a girl 4 hours away from home. The real kicker is that she lives 8 hours away from Chicago in the opposite direction. My luck is fantastic.
My ears are resting healthy at 2" give or take a 1/4". People still treat me like a circus freak, but I've gotten used to it. I shaved off my beard so my ears are really noticable.

2006/12/22 19:29 So I haven't fallen off the face of the earth even though I want to. I'm still jobless and sad. I start classes in Jan. but my schedule sucks so bad it will be hard to work around. I guess I better just suck it up and deal with it. Everyone has been awesome to me though.
That was the hardest thing that I have ever had to write. All of the preparations are over now and we are left to deal with our grief. My sister had 800+ people come to the calling hours and a hundred or so more turned away. Her funeral was amazing, and I'm sure she would be blushing because of the way she was revered. She was too humble.
My family is trying to use this as a motivational thing instead of something that is negative and detrimental.
2006/11/17 23:09 On Wednesday the 15th on November at 7:30 PM, my sister was involved in an auto accident that took her life. She was a loving person, and she was the happiest she had ever been in her life. She was graduating a year early, going to Pharmacy school, and she had secretly gotten engaged. Her exit was instantaneous and we are thankful for that. My number is 7657444710 if you want to share your condolences. Her services are on Sunday and Monday if any of you want to be there. 2006/11/13 11:06 So I finally took photos of my ears. I just hate winter because everything is cold and my ears get especially dry. I got some stone plugs. They make my ears have huge gaps on top.
Twice in the past 2 days, someone has asked me if my ears were 0 ga. I just had to laugh because 0 ga looks nothing like 2". I could see getting 2 ga and 0 Ga or 00 ga mixed up or even 7/16", but 2", come on. I think from now on I'm just going to say yes.
2006/11/07 12:14 So I know I said I was going to do better at posting, but I'm a liar. I forget everything and I'm having a hard time remembering what is what. I've been doing a lot of work in isolation. I really look forward to a time when I don't spend 75% of my time or more absolutely alone. My ex-girl started calling me again recently. I don't really know if that's good. I'm really put off by the thought of her in general.
2006/10/01 05:36 School has been going ok. Everyone stares at me kind of funny and I make a serious effort to avoid 90% of the students. When ever I walk on campus I feel like my hair must be of fire or something. It must be my new beard, not my freshly scalpelled ear lobes. Yeah, I'm at 2" now and they swelling is slowly going away. I'm ready for everything to loosen up so I can sleep without plugs. It is just plain uncomfortable.
I'm going to try to do better at posting here soon. I made a set of lignum vitae plugs that I really want to show off when they are finished. They aren't perfect, but I'm also not highly skilled. All I know is that it is really hard for me to get anything done lately. I'm just really lame and I can't remember anything.
2006/08/28 15:58 I turned 25. I'm going back to school. I'm going to be a freshmen with 130 credit hours that transferred in. Everyone in my classes is 17-19. I am closer in age and generation to the professors than my fellow students. It's a christian school and all of my professors are glad to have a heathen student.
