epic waffle ride.

our bike club rode out to mercer island with 10 waffle makers and about 20 gallons of batter. plus tons of toppings and booze. we cooked and ate waffles all night, then got kicked out of more than one bar afterward.

i dont think the people at the hooverville liked people throwing waffle mix around after last call.

i'm a little blown away right now... i just got comments back from my other research advisor (at NYU) about our latest paper. i worked pretty hard on this experiment, and put together a (in my opinion) dope-ass figure to display the point of the data. but i was still pretty surprised at his comment on it:

Eric, this figure is a masterpiece. It is extremely impressive physical chemistry, but it is also brilliantly designed, Tremendous example of the visual display of quantitative information. You should get a PhD just for making a figure like this.

the colors come out a little shitty and grainy uploaded here, but you get the idea...
