Finding my way in Seattle...

I am a 19 year old Texan living in Seattle. I like to think of myself as a photographer, and am working on refining that skill. We'll see where that goes, as I'm not giving up anytime soon.

I'm fairly new to the body mod community, but am hooked and never turning back. With some recent piercings, I have discovered the value of such things. So now I'm working on fixing parts of myself I'm unhappy with.

I don't have to simply live with it anymore.

First Tattoo!
2009/11/17 20:57 So I had always been of the opinion that tattoos should be well planned out and the idea kept for an extended amount of time to ensure you are not going to tire of it. Because of this, I have always opted to get pierced each time I found myself wanting a change. Until mow.

About two and a half weeks ago my fiance and I celebrated our anniversary and couldn't think of anything special to do. We had gotten pierced together the last time we wanted to commemorate something. But this idea was rejected, for we were attempting to save up, and the piercings we wanted next were going to be a bit pricey. Jokingly, I suggested a commemorative tattoo. And then I left for work.

When I came back, Jordan met me at the door with a sketch of two puzzle pieces. Turns out, I had gotten the next day (Friday the 30th, our actual anniversary) off.

Now we have a simple little 2-inch puzzle piece on our ankles and couldn't be any happier with them. It's extremely symbolic of our relationship from the beginning. I am glad I got this to start out with, as my next piece is going to be large, stretching from my calf to shoulder blade on my left side (something to save up for). Now I know what to expect.

Unfortunately, I'm also in love. Piercings are fun, but the permanent has drawn me in...

Pictures will be up soon, they've healed beautifully.
