2009/08/25 19:45 moving back to pittsburgh at the end of the week. not too happy about it, but school is school. this summer was a good summer, but filled with a lot of losses. i'm really going to miss knoxville like always. my only hopes are that i finally find people in the pittsburgh area i actually click with instead of these filler friends i've had for the past two years. been depressed all week knowing that the end is near...

2009/07/01 15:13 so sunday was super productive. went to church and since this weekend was pride, the service was on LGBT rights and whatnot. my ellen joined and it was neat to have her actually sit in on a service there. (speaking of, a lot of people mistake the chalice i wear for a cross. it kind of bothers me.) after the service i went back to dave's place to spend an hour or two with him before taking him to work, then i went to two dance classes at circle of modern dance. the second class i took was with a teacher i'd never met before, and after having me in her class/talking to me for a moment afterwards, she invited me to perform with them this friday at a showcase downtown. if that wasn't exciting enough, she then asked if i would like to teach my own class there. pretty fucking awesome. after dance i went out to the farm and rode this walking horse who was a lot of fun. he's kind of a lazy ass but when he gets going his gait makes it feel like you're riding on air. he was also fun to ride bareback. so i pretty much worked towards all three goals i set for myself this summer by coming home. 1) spend time with my UUs, 2) get back into dance, and 3) spend more time working on the farm. word.
