burn and start again
2010/01/29 15:50 i havent updated in a really long time. my ears have been kind of infected? i dont know if they're infected but they're kind of crusty and flaky and they've been that way for a while. i'm upping salt soaks for 2 times a day for a week and seeing if it gets better.
the biggest thing that's happened over the last few months besides turning nineteen and going to philly for the first time is that i'm really getting into food photography and its sort of my concentration for the year. my dessert portfolio from the fall is on my flickr. i'm really excited about it and the prospect of also learning about food styling, being a better cook, and really controling the scenario, and its awesome. check out my work: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mackenziedreadful

2009/10/06 03:47 i feel so fucking disgusting right now. i've only slept for 3 hours. i took a nyquil before i went to sleep for my stuffy nose and i woke up with chills/shakes, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, chest tension, ugh. i've never had the flu in my entire life and i really hope this isnt it.
2009/08/30 09:49 someone give me a photoshop project to work on. be it photoshopping you into something, a picture that needs fixing or ripping something off in a font, or whatever. i love retouching and i really want to get my skills back up before i go to school on saturday, also it gives me something cathartic to do.
2009/08/16 21:07 good, not boring weekend. played the last show ever with my old pop punk band, it was pretty fun. played at abc on saturday with ashtray dirt, also fun. ate lots of good foods. today i helped jake move into his new apartment for most of the day. it's a pretty awesome place. i'm also a little sad that he's not in westchester anymore but everyones gotta get out of here at some point. back to the city in 3 weeks. it couldnt come fast enough. i'm psyched for my new room and new place to be bigger then last years and a lot nicer, with cooler features (roof access, key to the park). i'm not psyched for my new roommate because apparently she sucks. i hope she moves out.
