2008/04/05 00:06 I've been aching to add to my tattoo lately. I really need money for it. I feel like it's incomplete- What I'd like to do with it is have it wind around my back to the opposite shoulder, and then I'd like to get a half sleeve on the arm of that shoulder. I'd continue space ships to my shoulder, and then I'd use that same background to connect it to the half sleeve.
So, uh, who has a few hundred dollars to give to me?

2008/03/25 13:06 I had a dream the other night I got my helix punched at 4g and we intended to put some blue glass put in.
But the punch wasn't going through, and I was pissed! I had woken up into the situation of being punched, and in the moment I liked the idea, I was anticipating the pain, but when it didn't go through I realized I don't want any cartilage piercings! I don't want hypertrophic scarring or any of the drama that seems inevitable with a cartilage piercing!
It makes me want a dermal anchor or something though. It also makes me realize how much I enjoy pain in a strange way- on one level it centers me and allows me to lose focus of all the things that are bothering me and gain focus on the moment, the here and the now, and on another level it's definitely a sexual trigger. I'm not so into it like some people are, I'm not into it to the point that where I find bondage porn and stuff I'm actually turned off by it rather than turned on. I just like a little sting here and there.
Well I'm off to soak my septum and hit the bank. My poor septum hasn't been healing as well as I'd like it to- it's such dry weather lately. My nose will go from icky booger city to completely dry and crusty and gross. It's just a sad situation.

2008/03/18 12:47 Well, I had it stretched last... Thursday I think it was. Maybe Wednesday?
Honestly, it was a bad stretch. Apparently it was too soon, although I felt like my jewelry was loose. Playing with it for another month would've definitely helped. I don't think there was a noticeable tear, but I think there were microtears. It's crazy lymphing this stretch, which it didn't do last stretch. Hopefully I'll be able to hold off till my birthday in July till I stretch again.
It does look really good at this size though. The jewelry's more noticeable, and it just seems to suit my face better. I think my nose/nostrils are kind of big, so proportionally it seems just about right. I originally wanted to go to 6 or 4g, but I might make a really long stop once I get to 10g.
2008/03/12 00:44 So tonight I think I'm going to get my septum stretched. It's been a month and a week. I don't know how long it's recommended to wait between septum stretches, I assume the same as ears. Either way my septum feels really loose. It was bothering me last week, but I'm pretty sure I was hit in the face with a shoulder during sex.
He was really good at sex.
I think I half convinced one of my friends to pay for a tattoo. He said he'd pay for it if I got one of his drawings tattooed on me. I think I like the idea of it- there's no meaning behind it. The one I have has so much history and pain behind it. Ultimately it's about overcoming that pain, but I still have to remember what I got through to remember that I got through it. So a silly, meaningless tattoo would be a nice change.
Also, when I get money, I'd like to start on a half sleeve. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and ultimately what I want to do is take my ideas to Josh and have him work it out with me. The last time I told him to just go nuts and do what he wanted, it turned out better than I had ever imagined.
