aite. went and had a little bit of work done on my arm yesterday. tommy touched up my ambigram on my forearm and the big red skull on the inside of my upper arm. also filled in the last tombstone on the back of the upper arm. half sleeve is now complete. that turkey would even take any of my money. i didn't expect for him to do it all for free... looks like its gonna be a long time before i can finish with the forearm. i have a severe lack of funds, and it aint gonna get any better any time soon.
me and my bro and his son went to the pig pickin at the penguin last weekend. it was great. got to see a couple bands i have been wanting to check out for a while. it started dumping rain right when the LAST song was ending. that was a pretty good way to get everyone to clear the fuck out.

i ordered a pyrex septum retainer from bodyartforms a few days ago. ive been wearing a black (niobium?) retainer for a few years on and off. over the past few months, my nose has been really sore sometimes. i thought that the pyrex would be a better choice, as its supposed to be hypoallergenic, and i wanted to try something different (not titanium yet). well i got it no problems, wore it for a few days and it felt great. my wife warned me against getting it cuz she thought it would be easy broken. well i wanted to see how strong it was, so it gave it a little test. i took it out and attempted to "flex" it just a little bit to see how sturdy it was. well... i gave it a half a squeeze and the fucker snapped in half. DAMN. so i guess i'll get the titanium after all. ps - i guess my wife was right! and i told her so

so me and my bro went to check out the krawl on central ave in charlotte last night. had a good time. lots of good bands to be heard, and FREE. the red and the black, the westchesters, loose lugnuts, murdercycle, the smoking rocks. and then of course, waffle house for a followup CHEEZBURGER. cops where there when we pulled up of course, but were leaving when we walked in. the cook and the manager are arguing with each other the whole time. i think he quit (or was taking and extended smokebreak, like REALLY extended). ah, good times. going to see my dad today. cool

hmm. what to say. my job feels like its about to go away, cuz i dont think this business will last much longer. fathers day is this sunday, i wanna go see my dad. he was hospitalized recently but has been released. hes back home and doing ok. 50 years of drinking and smoking is not so good for the body, whodathunkit? our grass is coming up very well where we planted it - man that was hard work! i am glad it paid off. me and my bro are going to check out a couple of shows this weekend. one of his buddies has a country/rock/justplaingoodmusic band and also a old school metal band that we've not seen yet. they are both playing sat night, so we should have a real good time.
