i live in the atl, work in a public library, lust after men, don't eat meat, relish my vices, strive for greater understanding, look towards new experiences, and try not to fuck up too much.
I used to have more piercings, but these days i have more ink than anything else, and i still don't have anywhere near as many tattoos as i want. i'm just bad at saving money. that being said... Current mods:

2009/01/23 23:56 i did end up getting a tattoo last sunday when i was out of town. it is in the flakey dry stage right now, but i will try and get some decent pictures of it and put them up in a couple weeks. for now here are a couple of shitty camera phone grabs taken on sunday. it is design from the bme megarings t-shirt, in case that isn't apparent. so yeah, hooray and all that.
2009/01/17 10:29 things are going alright. i am on the second day of a four day weekend (thanks MLKjr!) and at some point i will going with my brother down to visit my parents in central georgia, where i will strive to connect with a certain tattooist friend of mine and get some new ink! i am really hoping that will work out, because i have been craving another tattoo for some time now. wish me luck. in the meantime i am just going to be chilling at home, enjoying the newly fixed heater (just in time, since the last few nights have been really cold, for georgia) and perusing the myriad books and movies i've been wanting to get into. right now i think i'm going to put on some warm clothes and go check out the pond, my roommates say it is almost completely frozen over. i wonder how the beavers are faring.
2009/01/11 12:20 so at work on saturday a goodlooking middle-aged guy came up to the circulation desk (i work at a library) to check out some children's books, and i noticed he was wearing a bmezine.com shirt (the one about not wanting to be different but just wanting to be oneself, or whatever). he didn't have any visible mods, but i was intrigued nonetheless. i mentioned the shirt to him but his response was noncommittal, something about not even knowing what shirt he was wearing. weird, but whatevs. maybe i will see him again.
in other news, i have a lingering head cold/sore throat thing which is annoying, but tends to happen to me around this time of year. i've been reading a lot of great graphic novels + trade paper backs recently, which is awesome. not a lot is going on beyond that. one good thing i am looking forward to is that i get paid three times this month, and the third paycheck won't have some of my routine deductions (like for insurance) and will therefore be bigger than usual. so i am going to try and set aside a decent chunk of money for my long-neglected tattoo fund, and if i keep it up hopefully i'll be able to afford something in a couple of months. yay.
2009/01/01 23:43 hey, i'm back again! it seems i'm not very good at committing to this site, but today i decided to give iam another try. i don't have much to report as far as new modifications go, unfortunately. most recently i recieved new ear jewelry from kaitee (aka gnomechomsky) and as a result my earlobe holes have made it to 4g. i still am craving some new ink, and i'm hoping that i will find a way to afford several new pieces in 2009. anyway that is about it from me, enjoy some miscellaneous pictures from the last few months of 2008.
2008/09/20 11:37 what's up kids. this entry is dedicated to kaitee, who sent me some iam coupons so that i would get back on here, even though i have some of my own, languishing in the bowels of my email. but anyway, it's nice to be back. lots has happened in the time since i've posted last, including moving to an awesome new place and graduating from college. unfortunately, i don't have any new body mods to show off. mostly, this is due to my inability to manage money long enough to build up a savings, and the inevitable vicissitudes of life which conspire to drain my wallet from paycheck to paycheck. but with any luck i'll get my act together soon and get some new ink.i have a few recent pictures of myself somewhere on this computer, i will work on getting those put up in the proper galleries over the weekend. probably.
