My name is Jesse Villemaire (a.k.a. JesseV) and I've been piercing since 2000 and picked up the art of scarification in late 2003. I currently own and pierce at Thrive Studios in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada just minutes off Hwy 401. Our studio offers quality tattoo art and body piercing with advanced sterilization techniques in a comfortable and safe environment. Our visible sterilization room is one of the many great features that our studio upholds.

New Scar...
2009/11/16 23:11 Holy shit...I got a chance to get online and update something fun! It seems like the last year has passed so fast and shop renovations have taken over my life. Finally I broke free from renos and picked up a scalpel once again. It felt good.

This latest cutting of roses and an hour glass took approximately 6 hours in total on Jason Cain's ribs. The original design was drawn by one of our tattoo artists here at Thrive Studios, Travis McGregor. It was a real fun piece to do!

Thrive Studios EXPANSION!
2009/08/16 00:47 Thrive Studios is soon to be the region's LARGEST tattoo and piercing studio...2 FLOORS! We are currently in the process of doubling in size by adding a private second floor loft space for strictly tattooing. During this time we'll also be expanding the size of our main lobby allowing more room for clients and expanding our jewellery selection. Also our piercing room will be gaining some extra square footage including new 9 foot ceilings throughout the main floor! This complete expansion should be done by October, 2009.

Creepy
2009/07/23 15:47 So we're about to start some renovations (finally) at our studio making it two floors. While we were gutting the second floor and ripping out the fireplace we found this picture of a little girl. I hope she's not haunting our shop and brings us good luck instead.

Gross
2009/07/11 10:05 I apologize for uploading this as you may throw up a little like I did. However it was a lot worse in person removing this from a client's tongue. She claimed she needed a new tongue barbell because the bottom ball felt weird. It's not very often that I have a sudden urge to quit but this was one of those times.

Is oral hygiene that difficult to maintain?!?!
