2010/02/08 10:05 also I think Kira's going to give me a tattoo.
that'll say "je fait"
2010/02/08 09:54 oh, what a weekend! saturday I went to LC and we went to the farmers market and then on a day hike in the Organ mountains. which much to our initial delight, and later discomfort, ended up being a snowhiking endeavour. (I was wearing vans!) we watched the Road, and went pack to Paddy's to drink and learn how to jerk.
Carlisle took me to an Alice in Wonderland themed party that kind of blew. went back to paddy's house for another beer and then rode my bike to my night's final destination. where in the last hour before falling asleep we had a conversation about final destination, the movies. he's the only person that speaks interestingly enough about pop-culture to make me feel like I actually am missing out. hah
milagro in the morning. later a tofu scramble with paddy. a semi-successful attempt at Food Not Bombs in LC. followed by another bike ride to Paddy's, and then a visit to my grandmother.
on the drive home my bike somehow came off my bike rack? and I dragged it for a while because it was still locked to the rack. I'm about to head over to the cyclery to see what I have to replace. oddly enough I'm not totally crushed? well I guess it's not so odd.
I'm in a manic episode. haha
also, I guess I'm doing this now:

doing/making part 2

so, yeah, I made one of these guys:
doing/making
2010/02/05 09:13
the thing about mania, of course, is that it makes every mundane happening seem serendipitous. your life is one well-oiled, smooth-running machine. everybody loves this part.
no one shoots themselves when they're feeling manic.
check out some shit I made:
2010/02/04 11:27 just dumpstered like 15+ yards of the vinyl that banners are made of!
up next: lunch with steve, library card, bike ride!

so Paddy and I are comic-ing our lives again, a la Snakepit. yesterday my panels consisted of Things I Did Rather Than My Assigned Reading For Genetics. highlights include picking my scabs and looking up Bruce La Bruce photography.
today I woke up to rain pattering against my window, so I ran downstairs to bring in Dream Bike. this weather's fucking insane. yesterday was totally shorts weather. today I also did my impression of a college student by sitting in a coffee shop for three hours reading my genetics book and listening to music on my iPod. I even bought some of the ambient art. hah
now I'm having an intense debate (with myself?) about whether I should break down and buy a messenger bag, or sew one like I've been saying I'm going to for ages. this is the blueprint assuming I follow through:
tomorrow's goals include checking the sign shop dumpster on the way to school, getting a library card, and taking pictures of my scars to show you.
unrelated: this is my first valentine's without a partner?
