I began tattooing at 14, working at first on myself, doing simple Harley wings on my left forearm with a guitar string machine. I then began working on my friends & eventually bought a Spaulding & Rogers setup. I have done many other forms of art and attended a full year of college art classes. After 14 years tattooing at home, I did a lame apprenticeship and began working in tattoo studios. I shortly thereafter became involved in body piercings, starting with the left lobe, then nipples, tongue, PA... I have been piercing for about 6 years. I opened Krahnic Body Art 2/22/02. Visit krahnic.com! I have tattooed myself numerous times & pierced my own septum. My right arm was almost completely inked in 2 - 2 day sessions. I do not enjoy pain, but tolerate it well. I am currently an APP member and have been an APT member. I am somewhat of a hygeine freak at work. I primarily tattoo and occasionally pierce. I hope to relocate to New Zealand soon. 2008/03/28 02:16 I have been using Neuma tattoo machines for about a month now. This means I now sterilize my machines between clients. Sterilization takes under 10 minutes in my StatIM autoclave. Single use air hose means no more bags on the cords or the machines. I think they are a little gentler on the skin too.
