| 2008/09/15 04:52 So after I made my complaining entry I complained a little bit more to my roommate and she took me to the bat bridge! We got there around 7:45? I think. The bats didn't start coming out until around 8:30 or so and it had gotten pretty dark so I had a hard time seeing them. It looked like a swarm of flies in the distance. It was pretty rad although it did smell like a hamster cage out there...too much bat poo I guess. After that we went to this restaurant called The Oasis. IT WAS HUGE! I wasn't even sure we were at the right place because it looked like a hotel or a casino and when they brought us outside onto one of the many terraces you could see the owners house on a giant hill nearby. It looked like a fucking castle. Oh and the restaurant was on the water. From what I'm told the view at sunset is the main attraction there. It was a really nice view even at night. You could see all of austin.
Later in the evening we(my roommates + our evacuee Cody) went to barflys where this extremely drunk guy whipped out his dick and started pissing on the patio...it was crazy. I mean I've had friends be so drunk they peed in a closet or the corner of a room, but not at a bar right out in the middle of everyone. Nonetheless he was drug out the back door on his back.
Anyway...after we all got pretty intoxicated at barflys we went back to the house and hung out until around 3am. Then me and Cody went to a party at my friend Brandon's. It was pretty decent. Lots of gay dudes hitting on Cody. Lots of drunk talk. Lots of annoying drunks. Your basic house party. Didn't get back home until 6am where I passed the fuck out and now I'm a little hungover...luckily I'm off today so I'm enjoying lounging around the house. So I'm gonna go do that.

I either:
a) got frustrated because I'm not good at navigating around here,
b) forgot that I actually started making entries on this thing as opposed to other bloggerbloggagblog bullshit,
c) expired,
d) all of the above.

Anyway, I've been living in Austin for a year now as of Sept 10 and I still don't do anything. I've never seen the bat bridge, I hate going downtown on the weekend, I don't do near enough vintage shopping which was always my favorite thing when I'd visit Austin, and I still haven't joined in on Critical Mass, WAIT I GOT ANOTHER ONE! I haven't done a suspension. :(
I'm off today and I'm sitting in front of the computer.

2008/02/28 19:02 i've been feeling weird as of lately....i think my brain is dying or maybe i lsot something in my ear and it traveled to my brain causing some kind of pressure thats making me all out of it all the time.
I don't wanna be out of it all the time...
I just got done watching enter the dragon. i only caught it in the middle so it wasnt as fun since i havent seen it in foreverzzz. anyway imma go watch television. |
