YAY THUNDERSTORMS
2008/07/22 12:05 There is an absolutely lovely storm going on outside right now. I woke up to it pouring rain in sheets, followed by moderately sized hail (about marble-sized). The sun came out briefly but has since gone away, followed by lots of thunder and blasts of rain.
Boise, ID doesn't get very intense storms, but I still love them. I love how against the gray everything looks so green and alive. I love listening to the thunder boom and the occasional lightening crack.
I went outside on our porch and watched it for a while. There was a pregnant squirrel hiding under the dove nest, trying to keep dry. Mother (or father) dove was protecting it's babies; wings all spread out to shelter them. Nature is beautiful.
I wonder if our garden took a beating from the hail.. I think I'll go check.
microdermal update

It's been about 2 weeks now and it doesn't hurt at all. The only thing that worries me a little bit is it's raised from the skin about a millimeter when I stretch out. Ah well.
I lost one of my cartilage piercings today *cries* I had a stud in it and lost the back last night.. it had been rather pissy lately and when i went to bed, I forgot to put a back on it.. it fell out in the night and closed up. Seriously sucks. Ah well.
