I am a DJ, producer, visual artist, anarchist, vegan, student, and dreamer - amongst other things. I am slowly finding out who I am. I am constantly altering my perception of life.
I enjoy dubstep, drum and bass, breaks, and hip-hop. I shoot film (both still and moving), burn sage and nag champa, and enjoy (vegan) cooking. I am loving the simple things in life: dumpstered food, friends, a garden, the rain.

Chris "Okibi" Wakefield is an up-and-coming young DJ and producer from Victoria, BC. With an early beginning in drum and bass and dubstep, and mentoring from some of the Island's finest, Okibi is poised to make his mark in the Island broken-beat scene having opened for acts such as ill.Gates, RCola, and Soulhunter. He brings a diverse bag of beats to every set: from rolling liquid funk, to dubwise exclusives, bangin' jump up, and glitched out dubstep. In late 2006 he founded Union Sound System. Okibi stays true to the old school sound, while pioneering future vibes.
