not much new to report, though i'm not sick anymore. this weekend has been pretty dull. thanksgiving at mum's was awesome, though, and it was really nice to see my parents again.
Jeff is back to his mopey silent treatment thing. i don't know why. he periodically does this. i feel like i'm being punished for something.

Jeff is working graveyard shifts because he's shortstaffed and his backup people are useless.
i'm still sick. woke up this morning and realized that the running battle i was fighting with this throat cold is over, and i've lost. croaking like a son of a bitch. i called Jeff to say good morning and his first response was that i sound awful. can't blame him. i do.
as the summer season winds down work is getting crazy, all these reports going out all over the place. hard to keep everything straight sometimes but there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
our Thanksgiving plans may be in question if Jeff is stuck working these shifts.
i'm so very tired this morning. being sick ruins everything.

people suck. at least, the ones that think they can order me around. they're in for a rather large surprise.
have made reservations on the ferries to and from the island to go to my parent's for thanksgiving.
went to Aura and got my hair bleached and cut short. like, super blonde. i love it. something tells me i may want to keep this up. nobody recognized me when i went to work. it's like being a new person.
the car is beautiful. just beautiful. who would have thought i would feel so spoiled by a new vehicle?
a car theme to our weekend. Burnout 3 and Need For Speed: Most Wanted. just silly things. just being us.
fighting a cold. stupid sore throat and constant sneezing. i thought i was getting strep for a while but thankfully i was mistaken.
a couple sore spots on my scalp from where the bleach burned me a little. they're itching like mad. ugh.

Jeff and i did something that was probably really quite crazy.
we leased a car. and not just any car. a 2007 VW Jetta GLI. we are now officially young urban professionals. or something like that. maybe we're just officially people who can afford $710 car payments with $189 insurance on top of it.
but GOD the car is sexy.
