I lost 5 pounds in one day. That's cool and all but not worth it. On the account of fasting is a little dangerous if you drink a lot like me. Somehow it had slipped my mind that it is not only Superbowl weekend but also Mardi Gras started last night and lasts until Feb. 16th. Not the best time to go fasting.
I went to Mahoney's last night to drink my 4 beers that count towards my Around the World (119 beers in 90 days), also they had some beers for only $1 to get rid of in glass bottles to get ready for Mardi Gras. So I PTFO on the porch at home. Blacked out. Not fell asleep. I ate some fruit today and a salad so I'm sure I'll live. Still doing the "lemonade" though. Just eating very little.
Just did a tongue piercing and I love the honesty of the south:
ME: "Why did you take it out last time?".
DA: "Probably on account of all the crystal meth".
ME: "K".
Gonna post some fasting photos tomorrow. Wanted to get a head start first.
Day One of Lemonade fast...
2010/02/04 19:16 Well so far so good, last night I drank the horrible concoction of extra virgin olive oil and a shit ton of blended fruit to hide the taste...didn't work. Looked to good in the blender so I had to take the picture with the bottle of oil in front of it.
Made my gallon of "drank" for the day last night so it'd be cold this morning. It's:
12 TBS of fresh squeezed lemons. (6 or 7).
12 TBS of Grade B Cane Syrup. (Easier to find in the south).
1 TSP of Cayenne Pepper
60oz of Spring Water
It's not bad at all and most people say they start craving the taste after the third day. I haven't even had any fruit today and I feel fine. Not tired, weak, or hungry. We'll see how fast I get drunk tonight I guess. =/
Oh yeah we were on the news today about fluer di lis. We've been tattooing a shit ton of em and the old piercer is now the news anchor for this city. Check it out on facebook.
2010/02/04 00:47 Well after much research about my gallbladder and kidneys I've decided to go with a type of fruit fast I tweaked. I've been vegetarian for many years off and on but since moving to the south south (20 minutes from the intercoastal) I went to Pesciterian. The problem with that is, everything is fried. I can't afford (time or money) to have my gallbladder removed even though I've been hospitalized 2 times for it. I'm going to try this 10 day "Lemonade Fast". Which is kind of funny since coincidentally I have "LEMONADE" tattooed on my knuckles. I figured I should document the effects of this, and of course weight loss photos (which are not intentional but not unwelcome).
