basically shit wasnt working out for myself or leo at iron heart and we had to leave the short and sweet of it is that we were having to pay far too much for rent, and couldnt afford to work there. i originally (by myself) went to the people that i have been good friends with for the last six years and worked with for the last 3 years and told them that one of my best friends and one of the best tattooers mike diamond (http://www.myspace.com/78177714) i've ever had the fortune of knowing gave me an opportunity to pierce at his shop and also approached me with an opportunity to apprentice underneath him to tattoo. i sat on that information for about a good year and then with stuff not working out at iron heart decided now was the time. i've been an avid tattoo enthusiast since i can remember and have always loved the tradition of tattooing and if you know me you know i generally spend all day looking at tattoo's online. so i decided now was the time to make all this happen. upon telling leo this news he told me that he didnt want to work at iron heart if i wasnt working there and was coming with so as of january 1st 5 point studios will absorb into the 2 sacred skin shops here in des moines and then sacred diamond where i am at will all be sacred "whatever" & 5 point piercing. im really excited about all the changes and i can promise you that i will be focusing all my attention and efforts to tattooing and improving the piercing game and orginaztion at sacred diamond and its not gonna be easy by any means but i WILL make it work and i will come out on top, i've lost a couple good friends over this whole deal and its been alot to take in, in the last month but i will whether any storm to achieve what i want in life whether anyone likes it or not...
