2010/01/01 12:39 Sweet, I was a top contributor for 2009. Kinda cool.
Not much too exciting here, otherwise. My parents were here for Christmas, which was amazing. Mom left this morning, so I'm kinda sad about that. My roommate is out of town until tomorrow, but that's just as well -- I used her away-ness as an opportunity to shop for and order her birthday present, which isn't until March. I can't wear any of the gorgeous hanging styles that are out there now, my ears are rather too large, but I live vicariously through buying jewelry for other people.
My sternum piercing seems to be healing really well still -- very little redness, no pain or itching or anything. However, after a year, my nipple piercings still aren't 100% healed, so I've been taking more aggressive care of them -- two salt soaks a day, and I'm hoping they'll finally be good to go. I suspect my chest binding is what's lengthened the healing process, so I've been avoiding it.
Anyway, time to hop in the shower. Happy new year. :)

life is pretty uneventful. i'm healing after a sternum microdermal -- it's only three days in, but so far everything looks good. no more blood while i'm sleeping, and virtually no redness. it itches occasionally, but no pain, so i'm hopeful that it will have a long and happy life.
i haven't left the house in three days because it's so fucking cold here. it's supposed to warm up tomorrow and then i'll actually go get some groceries.
pictures of the new piercing (as well as some new shots of my nipple piercings) are up on my profile page, and i'll link the experiences up when they get approved.

2009/07/28 13:03 not much new and exciting here. in the states for the summer, still. currently sitting outside in my backyard, messing around on the laptop and thinking about lunch. working on some writing, figured i'd pop in here and say: hi, i'm still alive.
i did take my septum piercing out a while ago. had my wisdom teeth taken out, and i had to take out all the metal in face for the x-rays. then proceeded to drop my septum jewelry on the floor of the car, not to be seen for about a month. we did finally find it, but the hole had long-since closed. it's currently decorating one of my bookmarks for safe-keeping.
