oh the updates.
- lost the baby. can't try again until i get my period again. it's been nearly 4 weeks without one.
- now i have a room full of baby stuff and nothing to look forward to.
- yet, i'm still in good spirits.
- started a new job in a real estate office where i get to play on adobe and publisher all day and still be home by 5pm.
- went to a pumpkin farm with all my favourite people and watched a trebuchet fling a pumpkin 200 feet.
- had an amazing halloween party. already planning for next year. will post pictures soon.
- on the way home last night a deer ran out in front of my car. i killed the deer and my car. yes, i'm okay. will post pictures soon.
- my 3 year old nephew and light of my life, Connor, is finally old enough to enjoy Halloween. he is the cutest Thomas the Tank Engine in the universe.
- i could not ask for a better husband, best friend(s), mother, sister, mom-in-law, dad-in-law, brother-in-law, nephew, family, home, job, or anything.
and just you wait, the someday baby will be the icing on my cake.

so my best friend is awesome and took my to go get my blood drawn today. it was a horrid experience.
i've had my blood drawn A LOT in the past couple weeks. all of the times it pinches for a second, then i'm okay, i fill my tube or 3 and go about my merry way. the woman who took it today was EVIL. she was huge. i asked her to take it out of my right arm because i just had blood taken 48 hours ago from my left. she could FIND A VEIN... are you nuts? so she goes to my right, stabs me and no blood flows into the tube. she removes the needle a little and stabs again. no blood. she does this 2 or 3 more times and 2 drops of blood came out. she pulls out the needle and i ask "is that enough?" she says no, and proceeds to stab me AGAIN!!! this time it worked thank god.
my arm is SO bruised. SO bruised. i don't know why she is even allowed to be a phlebotomist!
so now we enter the waiting game. by noon we should know if we miscarried or not. my thought? we did. adam, melinda, my mom, all think there is something in there still.
however, my breasts aren't sore and engorged anymore. i have lost sooo much stuff i can't even see how a baby would still be in there.
i just hope if i did miscarry i will have lost everything i needed to. they say you are most fertile after you miscarry. 80% of pregnancies after miscarriage go on to full term pregnancies.
on the other hand, if the baby is still there it is going to be our miracle child.
last note: why is it that EVERY show on during the day is a baby show????
