2009/03/18 09:43 I’ve been postponing decision of tongue splitting for about a year. I wanted to convince myself that I really want it and wait till I’ll be ready. During the “postponing” period I’ve researched anatomical books and internet for any information possible..
I bought all required stuff earlier and been holding it in special case waiting for that special moment, when nobody will be present in the house, because I wanted to spare the sight of blood to my family. There was olny my girlfriend with me, who also has some knowledge about body modification. I wouldn’t do splitting being absolutely alone.
Tuesday, 11:30 AM.
I’ve prepared 8 package of sterile first aid(poultice), few paper towel, boiled but cool water, antibacterial fluid for gargling, aqueuos solution with hydrogen peroxide, scalpel 15, bowl, mirror.
I sat in front of a desk with a mirror on it. Bowl was on my knees. I’ve cleaned my teeth, rinsed my oral cavity with antibacterial fluid and then aqueuos solution with hydrogen peroxide. Previously I had an earring in my tongue, so I decided that I will cut to the hole, maybe slight further. I’ve put scalpel to the tongue and did control cut – bleeding was small. Nothing unusual, cut was very superficial. Didn’t hurt very much so I decided to go on. It’s been really hard to do 2-3 slashes by myself. In the middle of cutting, when the bleeding was pretty serious, to be more specific, blood was trickling to the bowl I felt faint and paniced a bit, but olny for a few seconds. Suddenly I felt “adrelaline rush” and everything was ok. I laid myself in half-sitting position and managed to cut to the intentional point. After whole process I felt no pain, maybe some thwinging but that’s all. I’ve been stemming blood kompresami for about 20 minutes, by putting them between “tongues”. When it stopped bleeding, I’ve washed oral cavity and mouth with just opened mineral water.
Few hours after:
Every half an hour bleeds a little, but I wash my mouth with clean mineral water all the time.
Evening
Doesn’t bleed – spinning over tissue is visible. Efect is less bothersome, than healing after putting a standard earring into tongue.
now it's wednesday and everything it's ok :)I don't feel pain :)
