The VW's I have looked at are meh. I found 2 Subaru Foresters... one is an '01 with 97k miles, one owner. The other is a '97 with 59k miles. Both are the same price. Do I go for the smaller amount of mileage or the newer car? I am not sure... I suppose I should wait to hear back on the status of a loan tomorrow anyway.
*Sigh* This is frustrating.
On a positive note (this makes me sound like an alcoholic), I am going to the liquor store tonight. I'd ideally like to get some Amaretto, as I LOVE amaretto sours and I could just make them right here. We will see!
2008/12/17 23:30 No car yet. I scoured used car websites all day while pretending to work at work.. I came up with something finally, made the phone call, and they had sold it today.
I think I am going to look into getting a VW, mostly for the reliability. I would love to fix my car, and yeah, it can be reliable, but it's old. I can't take it on long trips or up steep mountains or whatever people do in their cars normally.
Anyway, tomorrow's phone calls will involve a VW Golf and Jetta. Both manual tranny, woot. Wish me luck!
Oh yes, forgot to add, I signed up on this weird website called OkCupid and I have had a profile for ONE DAY.. I already got a message from a 36 year old man who likes to wear swiss cheese on his penis. WTF? I put Bi because while I am looking for a girl, I can't say I am 100% gay here, but good lord, I've changed it now.
