We save our lives in such unlikely ways.
I don't have much to say.
I'm Noelani
19
living with my husband and his parents
I gave birth in December to a lovely little boy
have a few piercings, and mildly stretched lobes
no tattoos yet, but wishing for them
I went to a couple terms of college, but I can't afford it now.
I'm online basically always, but I never post diary entries. Don't let that mislead you, it only means I'm boring.
I play World of Warcraft, and would play a lot more games but I can't get simple movement down. If I could stand still and still play Halo I would, but I can't get the creatures to walk.
I teach kids to swim for a living, which seems to get more and more rewarding as time goes by, and I got promoted, so I'm in charge right now, but on break for my newborn.
There's your short synopsis, anything more you'd have to ask me.
My camera was discovered broken (screen cracked, displays inkblots on white instead of picture) the same day circuit city announced liquidation, so I have to get down there fast with my extended return policy thing. So no pictures past 2 weeks old, though he's 6 weeks today. The past day or so he's been smiling at me on purpose, when looking in my eyes when I arrive in his field of vision.
We can nurse now, though it took 4 weeks an a nipple shield.
his skin is getting darker as time goes by, he's a bit darker than me already, and his eyes get lighter blue at the same time.
I know it seems like an all-baby post, but at the moment it's an all-baby life, so I'm justified :)
Malachi Lucius Ritz was born at 8:12 am on Monday, December 8th. He was 7 lbs, 12 ounces, born at home in bed and my mother caught him.
Everything is going great, though we are running into lots of troubles breastfeeding.
Will post more later :)
I really need to stop leaveing Notepads open on my computer with very small and important pieces of information, because when I do, my computer inevitably shuts down. Earlier we had a power flicker small enough that the microwave clock did not change time, but both of our computers shut down. I know that I had two unsaved Notepads open and I have absolutely no idea what was on either one of them.
We went to another Tech concert since he came to Eugene and VIP passes were cheaper, plus Ritz got great hours at his job so we figured we'd splurge. I didn't get a picture with Tech, but Ritz and Nige did and I got one with Krizz Kaliko (who has Vitiligo and is an awesome looking man). Evidence:
