I'm not new to the body modification community. I've been obsessively interested since I was a child. I hope to get more tattoos, but currently am lacking the funds. I don't heal piercings well. I'm jealous of heavily tattooed people.
I like cats, photography, working cameras, and potatoes.
I go to Matt Cottrell at Planet Ink (Ottawa, Rideau Street) for piercings and Living Colour and Five Cents (Ottawa, Dalhousie Street) for tattoos.
I like making new friends and meeting/talking to new people over the internet.
Mods:
Lip/labret - Jono and Matt (Planet Ink)
4 tattoos;
wrist, ankle, small of back, and ribs
Helix (14g) - (Planet Ink Toronto)
Lobes x 5 2 (10g)
Navel barbell - Matt (Planet Ink)
I've currently given up on more piercings because I heal them TERRIBLY, but I'm definately getting more tattoos as soon as my personal funds become somewhere close to allowing tattoos.
Feel free to message me, I like talking to people.
Upside: A single hand can no longer cover both breasts
Downside: A single hand can no longer cover both breasts
So for now, you see both sides seperately. JUST IMAGINE THE SYMMETRY! kthnx.
Julian worked on Rob's sleeve some more, I didn't bring my camera because I am a tool. Anyway, it looks sweet and I want a half-sleeve a million times more now. I'm pretty sure my parents would shit themselves.
I think I'm just tired of not really being able to show off my tattoos without excessive removal of clothing. It's...awkward.
I'm just so nervous about starting such a big and obvious project. I don't know if I'm scared myself and therefore it's something I shouldn't do, or if I've just had 'you're too young' drilled into me too often. Hmm.
More pictures of my kitty, because she was playing/loving her tail and it's adorable.
Also my new ankle tattoo. His name is Norbert and he is speshul.
2006/08/04 21:19 I got the left side of my ribcage done yesterday. It hurt SO much more than the right side. I almost didn't want to finish it.
I'm all done my tattoos for now, I have a couple other ideas kicking around, but nothing for certain yet.
It feels weird to not have any upcoming projects or appointments, but it's time to take a break.
I have gotten 7 tattoos in the past year and a half.
Either way, I'm content right now. It'll be nice to save money for a while, and my OCD has been satisfied by evening everything out.
The pairs are now a Kurt Halsey dove and firefly on my ankles, a white ink star and cherry blossom on my wrists, the star in the centre of my back and coloured cherry blossom rib pieces on either side.
Woo!
Pictures come when I don't feel like my side is peeling off my body.
I got another white ink tattoo on my wrist. It's an outline of a cherry blossom to 'match' my ribs and other wrist (also a white ink tattoo).
It healed pretty well considering I was at work the next day and had to stick my hand in bags/hot things all day. My co-worker helped me bandage my wrist with no-stick gauze from the first aid kit and wrote "TRENDY BRACELET" on the top of it.
Brian at Planet Ink did it for me, and also touched up my other wrist as well. :)
Going on the 24th to get my right ankle done (again, to 'match' the left) and on the 3rd I have an appointment with Julian to do the left side of my ribcage (again..to 'match' the right side)
By August 3rd I will be all even :)
Can you tell I have OCD?
Pictures are of my scabby tattoo, my kitty, and my puppy.
